If you are looking for an eatery on the slightly higher end of the scale in New Cross, this is one of them. Tables and booths provide plenty of room to sit and relax. High ceilings make the place seem spacious. The menu offers the usual turkish mezze starters, and also has a lovely selection of grilled and vegetarian main plates. See my picture of one of the lamb mains(later devoured by my companion). My personal favourite is the halloumi and peppers with rice. Huge portions… I’ve not yet been able to finish a main dish myself. Service is pleasant. The food takes a short while to cook, because it is freshly made and not sitting about on some hideous grill all day. I’ve been here several times and will likely return.

We first visited Reyna when wet moved to the area, have now been numerous times and still love it. The bread is to die for and the chicken is beautiful. Lovely staff too.

There are few restaurants of this quality on the area and lack of competition doesn’t hold back Reyna from being a memorable and pleasant dining experience. The service and food are are both inviting and make you happy. Definitely worth a visit if you like grilled meat.

This place was my absolute favorite while I was living in London. It was affordable and had really good quality food. The food was never quite the same each time I came in but I actually kind of liked that. The staff was nice and got to know my friends and I during our time living in New Cross. The restaurant itself is very nice inside. It’s spacious, which is a great find in a place as crowded as New Cross. The prices went up a bit right before I left, but I still think it’s a great restaurant. Check it out if you’re ever in the area!
