A little pricy but decent food. The complimentary salad and bread was really nice too. Loved the lamb shank! Food portion was a little small, especially the skewers/grilled, I’d personally need to eat two portions of that to be full(no I don’t eat a lot). I had the lamb shank, little small, but would make do. Loved it, but could do with a tiny bit more seasoning.

I walk by the space Zeytin currently occupies every day, so I was thrilled to see the luxurious interiors the owners of Zeltin have been putting in over the past couple of months. There’s obviously some thought being put into their presence in the neighbourhood, and the area will certainly benefit. I walked by today and saw they were open for lunch, and decided to jump in to try the food. It was empty, but they’ve only been open for a week without much social media presence in a transitional area between Greenwich and Deptford Bridge. I had the standard hummous and mixed grill, but only because it’s something I crave often and will probably order it often here. Very delicious and well-presented, but with me being alone it’s hard to say how they will maintain such quality when their business increases. However, a local business that aspired to be a destination restaurant deserves local support, so people need come and put them through the trials of fussy Unilocal reviewers! Especially us fans of Turkish cuisine. They get 5 stars from my enthusiasm alone! One pet peeve: some of the music tended towards modern Turkish dance music, which is unnecessary for the ambiance. The traditional Turkish music mixed in was more appropriate to the experience they are trying to create for their diners. They also have a cash-only takeaway counter, but I recommend you come in and dine in the roomy space. The staff is lovely and welcoming, and ready to serve you!
