I love, love, love this place. There are so many hotels in London, and so many that are SO expensive. This place is reasonably priced, in a great location, super quiet, good beds, and has a great shower. The rooms are small, yes, but um… if you’re from the States get used to it. If you’re from UK or Europe, you should be used to it — and would definitely find this place a gem. The price is so great (you can use their website to book), and the staff is mostly friendly (there’s one guy there that I don’t care for, but he’s not really mean per se). The checkout is a snap, and they will hold on to your bags if you get there prior to check-​in. I’m a big, big fan.

Nice hotel, excellent service, clean rooms, extra pillows, great continental breakfast, friendly hosts… what more do you need? After multiple trips to London Paddington area, this is now out fave

Rather unfortunately and due to some extra-​ordinary circumstances, we had to crash here.
The pros are — basically — that the room are basic and OK, it’s rather cheap and the location is great. Close to Paddington, Hyde Park and good cheap eating on Edgware Rd.
The cons are smelly — really really smelly — hallways and rooms. Everything is rather dirty and worn down, and the rooms are tiny tiny.
Anyway, it covered the basic need for shelter, however, I don’t believe I’ll stay here voluntarily again.

Das Rhodes Hotel ist in einem Privathaus auf der Hotelmeile Sussex Gardens untergebracht. Entsprechend der Architektur und dem Baujahr ist alles etwas plüschig, die Treppen steil, die Zimmer sehr klein. Das Frühstück war o.k., alles in allem war es seinen günstigen Preis wert. Die Lage ist prima praktisch direkt am Hyde Park und der Tube Station Lancaster Gate.
