Delicious roasted hog in the tasty roll with sauce and rockets. Only watching the pig being roasted makes you already hungry.

Oh My God! I don’t even know if I’ll find the words to describe the beauty that was this roast hog sandwich (but let me try anyway!).
It all started for me with the smell of roast pork, so irresistible it guided me through the market and into the queue of Roast Hog. Yes, it is a long one most offen than not. But do queue up, it is worth it (also, the pork roasting on its stake is weirdly hypnotic, you won’t even realise how long you’ll queue up for!)!
Pillowy soft ciabatta bun and peppery rocket make for the basis of this delicious roll, which is then filled with perfectly balanced apple sauce (I was afraid it might be too sweet but it’s not!), and then slices of melty pork and crispy bits of crackling.
Perfection.

What’s not to like? A big fat juicy hog is roasting, it smells amazing, and you can get a ciabatta bun filled with apple sauce (amazing with pork, I didn’t know it would work so well), roquette and a huge amount of pork meat for only 5,50£ !!
Don’t forget to ask for your crakling… So fat, but so good !
