It is expensive but their pastas are among the best you can find in London. Try their ‘olive all’ascolana’ and the tagliatelle with mushrooms. The ‘not pasta’ dishes are a bit overpriced. If you are lucky and vincisgrassi are in the menu, try those as well! Proper typical center-Italy food. And very good local wines

Just a wonderful experience. This is a small place with a great atmosphere. The food and service where excellent. The waiter also made great recommendations, something which most waiters in London shy away from. Our group included two people from Milan and they said this was just like being in Italy. The antipasto was incredible. A great selection of charcuterie and cheeses that I would have ordered a second round of, if I didn’t have my main coming… and it wouldn’t have been embarrassing! Try the Spaghetti con baccala’ e pomodorini appassiti(Spaghetti with dried cod). The fresh pasta is the best I have had in London. Finally, I swear the tiramisu may have made time stand still it was so good. A must try. Tip. When ordering an espresso to end the meal, ask for a little grappa, and you will not walk away sad.

Good food, but a bit too expensive. Try to go there between 12pm and 7pm so that you can get the daily deal.

If you love Italian food and you know when you have found the real thing… then go quickly to this establishment. Chef is very knowledgeable and staff feel like family there… service was excellent. It is small but very worth your time. Had great starter of chicken liver pâté ala crostini… superb. Fresh pasta was excellent with two different sauces true to the le Marche region of eastern coastal Italian.

The menu outside reads for dinner or a big lunch, but thankfully there were a few sandwiches in the window. I stopped in and they have a separate sandwich menu. I ordered he ciabatta with Parma ham, mozzarella, tomatoes and spinach.(See photo) It comes with a small salad. The sandwich was good. Bread was crunch, not too thick, and the flavor of all four ingredients works well. With a cup of tea, it was £ which is a bit on the expensive side! but worth it. Two small tables outside for two people each. Limited seating upstairs, but more seating downstairs. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

Dependable Italian here. Atmosphere is quaint, they have pastas with truffle! and the wine selection is ample. Def worth a go if you’re in the area.

This is the first time I eat in a real Italian restaurant in London. The food is delicious, the wine is really good and the atmosphere is relaxed.

Well, great location, but couldn’t decide whether to laugh or cry at the service: our neighbours asked the girl to lift the shade a bit so they could enjoy the sunshine, and were treated to black looks and a near tantrum! Food ok but terribly salty with unnecessary quantities of oil.

I must say that this place is really bad. Unfortunately the ladies working here do best talking to each other than serving customers. Bad attitude from staff and a very negative vibe. Also the ovely cheesy pop music played here is just so not for a coffee shop. Sounds more like a drag queen bar. Bad! Also the staff should learn some basic English. I had to repeat 5 times ’ Take in, camomile tea please! ‘.

Rossodisera is a well-presented café on Monmouth street, closer to Neal Street than Seven Dials. For a while I thought it might suffer by its proximity to the Monmouth Coffee Company but it seems to do quite well and whilst the coffee isn’t quite as good, I prefer it as a place to sit. Whenever I’ve been in I’ve been served by a friendly Italian man who I assume owns the place. The café has at the beginning of the street and is quite visible due to its large glass frontage. There are a couple of small tables outside and quite a few inside. There is a front counter where you can see all the cakes and other Italian delicacies that they sell. The cakes include Italian specialities and traditional favourites; all that I’ve tried have been lovely. I have not ordered their savoury food to take away but it all looks rather nice and everything else is pretty good. As I mentioned the coffee isn’t as good as Monmouth but is pretty good regardless. Rossodisera is a good café with good food, friendly service and a pleasant relaxed atmosphere.
