I’m pretty sure this launderette mostly serves the student accommodation in the same building… so for those guys, I’m sure it’s great. For regular people? Mehhhh. When I first moved to the area I thought«great! A laundry really close by.» It has signs boasting dry cleaning(surely done off site), drop-off service, and of course there are several heavy duty washers and dryers. As I was still adapting to no «real» dryers in Europe — I thought this might scratch the itch for fluffy towels and clothes close to home. So I plodded over with a bag of stuff. The woman seemed so uninterested in my business. She didn’t know how much it would cost or how long it would take. She could barely communicate with me. The bag I got back was fine, but not folded that well and I could’ve done the same job myself. Granted, I’d been spoiled by my Korean expert laundry mistress in Brooklyn — but at least passable work should be expected. I’ve not been back but I guess if there was some emergency need for washers and dryers I could pop over here and it would be fine for that. If traveling or staying nearby it would be fine for that, especially if you are lugging kids around or having an extended holiday. Cash only. In the end I found my preferred folks and here they are: Eskimo(pick-up/drop-off laundry & drycleaning): Dry Cleaner on Pitfield(tailoring, dry cleaning):
