This is my local Italian and I am very happy to have it. There aren’t that many fantastic restaurants in my hood and certainly good pizza and pasta is hard to find. Fortunately, Sanzios comes through every time.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food they bring out is almost always very good. The pizza in particular is consistently great but they have many other great dishes, including a solid amount of rotating special.
As the weather warms up, I am sure I will com here even more since they have big windows that open up to the world. Perfect for a sunny day.
If you are in the neighbourhood, you should definitely check it out.

We had one bite of our starter and already planned to return. The food, service and (to be honest) the house wine worked wonders. The lasagna was a delightful surprise and the simple cucumber, tomato, feta salad was lovely.

Love this place! When we first moved to the area, we were worried we’d have to travel to find good restaurants. We were relieved to find this gem of an italian. The staff are really friendly and accommodating (and all italian). The pizzas are fantastic with very fresh ingredients (though it’s difficult to finish a whole one). Prices are good. The menu is varied with plenty of salads and pastas and also weekly specials so you don’t get bored! Go now.

Considering this is my local Italian restaurant it took me ages to actually get in there and try it but now I’ve been I will definitely be back again.
I had the pepperoni pizza and added some artichoke to it and it was really good. We also ordered some rosemary fries and potatoes but to be honest you couldn’t really taste the rosemary on them. My friend had a vegetarian pasta dish and she was nice enough to give me a taste and that was also delicious!
At lunchtimes they have a meal deal and it can get quite busy but at night it’s quite chilled with a steady stream of customers.

Close location. Friendly service. Free olives on the table after ordering omnomnom.
It can get a bit pricey, four of us shared a starter, each had mains, and three desserts plus a bottle of prosecco. Turned out to a little over £100.
But we did splurge.
I saw a lot of people stopping by for takeaway orders. Mostly getting pizzas. You could probably make a cheaper night of it ordering pizzas. Either way the quality is lovely and atmosphere perfect for a date night.
