This is an especially lovely place to sit in the summer as there is enough room for some exterior tables in front of the shop. That’s not to say that it isn’t still a treat in the winter months too, with cosy seating inside and to the back. Good old fashioned Italian fare here including great lasagnas, sandwiches on Italian breads, mama’s pastas and Italian meats and cheeses. There’s also more traditional sandwich fillings such as coronation chicken. Whatever you fancy, the list is endless, and the prices quite reasonable between £2 and £4. I love the fact that this café also doubles as a deli and off-license too. Round off your lunch with a warming cup of coffee and perhaps an imported bottle of wine for your night in front of the TV.
