The gleaming neon of the Savoy invites you in to a glorious caff (part of a mini-​chain). I had one of the standard breakfasts — «the works»; 1 egg, 2 bacon, 3 BP, 4 tomatoes, round of toast and square of bubble — supplemented with a sausage. No need to unorder mushrooms or beans in this one, or add BP or bubble. The bubble had peas in too. Perfect.
Also: none of this grilled tomato nonsense. Said tinned tomatoes on the menu, tinned tomatoes is what you get. Fantastic.
Very friendly too.
