Today, we tried piadine at Sburoni, a pop-up shop at the old petrol pump in Shoreditch. And it was dee-licious! Fresh flat bread stuffed with peppers, onions, and sausage(there is a vegetarian option with rocket and soft cheese). The secret lies in the dough, it has the right amount of salt, and the bread is soft as well as crisp, I don’t know how. There’s also a Nutella-stuffed version, if you want to finish off your meal with something sweet. A speciality of Riccione that I’m so glad we tried.
