Originally from New York City, but came here recently while visiting a friend. The place was so lovely and quaint – a great retreat after a busy morning of shopping and sightseeing! The food and coffee were so delicious! I have lived in Italy and appreciated that the food was authentic, fresh, but still had a culinary twist to it. Smoked duck breast was out of this world! This was one of my favorite places while in London for a casual meal that doesn’t compromise on quality. Will definitely go back.

Ate at this Italian place after some shopping at Oxford. Great place to have a quick, hearty meal. The selection of antipasti and pastas is tempting. I tried the courgettes parmiggiana, cherry tomatoes with mozarella salad, and the grilled vegetables with balsamic — three choices for just £6.45. You can’t beat this price especially around London. My friend tried their pasta. The staff told me menu changes daily so there’s more reason to be back. Place is somewhat hard to find. It’s off Oxford street. There was some construction near it. But nothing that Google maps couldn’t solve.

This is a fantastic place to pick up lunch. There are a thousand and one places around here to get pseudo Italian take-away, but this is the real deal. It’s a tiny place, you can eat in, if there’s a table free, but really this is a tine Italian Deli come brasserie, you can pick up various stuff in ciabatta or better still select from a wide range of antipasti, meats, vegetables and pastas in sauces to take away in a box. I love it. The food is delicious, very real and very Italian. Try to get here before 1:30pm or all the lovely pasta will be gone.
