This is a Starbucks, hence it is pretty much like any other Starbucks and therefore should get a rating according to that. At least that is what I thought until I want downstairs for brief visit to the toilet. OMG!1! What the… I can’t even… How could a human. No! Can’t be unseen! Let me put it like this… sometimes the Unilocal photo feature is not appropriate to use.

I like a place where I can relax without being pressurized or feeling guilty to get out of my seat or rushed. This is a great place. They leave you and even givevyouba reassuring smile. Brilliant.

I came upon Fleet Street on a rainy day. While I didn’t see a barbershop, i did come across this Starbucks. i got a great cup of coffee in a huge, ceramic mug.(you add milk, sugar yourself). as i remarked to the person sitting next to me «this really hits the spot on a day like this.» i dont want to have to shlep back to England for good coffee, but its better than the New York locations! jolly-ho! pip, pip

When I studied at King’s College London, this was basically where I lived while I was around The Strand during the day for classes. So, I spent A LOT of time mingling with the solicitors and barristers who worked in the neighborhood while I was abroad. I quickly noticed that it was a very«American» thing to want to study in a café setting; King’s beautiful Maughan Library was just across the street, but I always felt more comfortable enjoying my coffee and books at Starbucks and the only other students I regularly recognized were Americans, too. This was a really nice Starbucks and I actually enjoyed spending time here. It could get very busy during peak hours(especially in the mornings and during lunch time), but there were always plenty of baristas working upstairs so service was always quite efficient even if the lines were long. This location also had a large basement seating area with plenty of tables, armchairs, and even special study carrels with individual lights! Why can’t the Starbucks in America be as nice?
