Love Starbucks great for a coffee cake etc. However this one is always overcrowd and not very clean. The toilets are particularly bad and the air-​con makes the place too cold :-(Ok for a quick takeaway frappachino!

Works out really well for me when I need to read, study or work outside my conventional physical workspace. The wifi is also functional mostly. Ive also almost never had to wait longer than 10 minutes for a table, which again, gets me here more often than I would like to.
Sometimes, however, it can get unwarrantedly noisy because of the menace that is called ‘school kids’. Rotherhithe’s unusual and intensely residential quality results in this Starbucks being frequented by school kids, and no, not the ones that want to read or drink coffee. Also frequented by housewives with their babies gets this one particularly crowded on weekdays which is not too bad, because they’re usually too tired to make any noise.
In any case, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and fairly efficient, providing you just the canned Starbucks experience you’re looking for (and that the French loathe!)
