This is the largest Tesco I know not somewhere to visit at the weekend –unless late at night its open 24 hours. It has a huge range and a decent world food section spanning 2 aisles. Clothes, toys, electricals basically sells everything. Good for the store cupboard and reasonable organic selection. I come here once a week its efficient rather than a pleasure. Well stocked with a large fruit and veg section.

This Tesco Extra has everything. Seriously, if I ever need anything, from office supplies to electronics to different varieties of ketchup, I could find it at Tesco. And on top of that, they’re open 24 hours(Monday to Saturday)! Talk about convenience. Unfortunately word has gotten out. The queues for the tills can sometimes be unbearable, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons. It’s sometimes so crowded that there are no baskets available for you to shop with. But who cares when you have food galore before you to buy. I personally enjoy coming early in the day to get the discounted about-to-expire food before others snatch them up. Tesco, my second home.

There has been a big improvement since the expansion; this Tesco now has an optician, phone shop and good stock of electronic goods. I love the fact that there are lots of ethnic foods(Vitasoy, Cream Soda, Dolly noodles!) but sometimes variety can be a mixed blessing(try standing in Tesco at 11pm on a Friday night, trying to decide what to buy…) But I can’t complain — it is open pretty much anytime that I might want to go grocery shopping, there’s a good range and prices are reasonable(it’s also the only large supermarket near me, but that’s a different story…)

Tesco extra store. Has a range of departments which include tesco direct, pharmacy, opticals, tesco mobile, photo print, and even a small Foreign exchange, though the rates are not the best. They also have a large section which has all foods from different cultures located in the isle before the breads. Since its expansion into a Tesco extra it has become very very busy, so I tend to avoid the usual peak times. The Staff here varies from very helpful to dam right rude. Oh and there is also customer toilets if u walk to the far end of all the tills.

this tesco store is very useful. a very short walk from canada water tube its perfect for grabbing some stuff in south-east london. the store is a good size and not too busy. its at the back end of slightly old and run down shopping centre Surrey Quays which has all the usual chains but is quite small. buses also go very close to the store

24 hours monday — friday. and good hours on saturday(will 10pm) and sunday till 5pm. staff are helpful most of the times. a few are quite rude and answer you as if you should know everything. Good book, dvd, cd selection.
