The Alchemist Bar is another bar /​pub on Lavender Hill. It’s a pretty bog standard bar /​pub serving cocktails and other drinks. There’s a cool private hire option here and it’s also quite cheap.
A friend privately hired this for a birthday about a year ago. The atmosphere was pretty buzzing and we were in there till after midnight which was a bonus. However, there’s nothing distinguishable, in my mind, about this place and Lavender Hill has much more to offer. Really OK rather than mind blowing…

The Alchemist Bar is a trendy South London venue in based in Battersea. They have a cocktail bar that always attracts the crowd. There is almost a night club feel to the place, with it’s colourful wallpaper and paint scheme. There is an outside garden where people can go and have a smoke and be sociable. The drinks are priced fairly with beers starting at around £1.75, they do also have some Japanese cocktails on the list. Now I am a 20 year old and I felt a bit like the youngest person in there, with the crowds being over 30+ but even so, the atmosphere and staff make you feel welcome!
