I’m normally dubious of ‘fusion cuisine’ places, as some tend to be trend over substance. This place, however, seamlessly merges quality and style. It is also a useful choice if you are dining with someone who isn’t big on sushi, as there are enough chicken and beef choices to satiate them. Décor is slick Scandi — even their website is gorgeous and menu design is beautiful, showing artfully shot pictures of the food, without looking tacky. Interestingly some of the seating is at large round shared tables, useful for groups of 8 to 10 people. I thought the nigiri sushi was a bit on the pricey side, so we chose other items which seemed better value for money. The salmon ceviche roll was excellent, pulling in a slight lime sharpness and fresh coriander flavour. They offer several large salad plates which can be split amongst 2 — 3 people depending on what size you order; we had the small fish bowl which was delicate yet filling. If you can’t decide what to order amongst the dazzling options, they also provide a number of more glamorous ‘set meu’ type options, mixing sushi, maki rolls, and sticks. These options are helpful for groups of more than 4; fun to share and easing ordering and splitting the bill at the end of the meal. Despite it being a busy weekend night, the service was excellent. All in all the bill came to £70 for two people, including a carafe of the house sake. I’ve eaten at many worse places for £35 a head. Nevermind my doubts about fusion fare, this one gets it right.

What a beautiful Sushi Bar, the owners are from Denmark. They certainly want you to be comfortable with oversized window, large tables and books in the center. Sushi is fresh and creatively displayed. For meat eaters they have a wonderful assortment of meats, chicken and lamb. Oh yes they have gluten free soy sauce. Service was great!

Food is delicious, although pricey. Budget for £50 per person with drinks. Sushi with a Danish twist, interesting menu, slick setting. Would recommend!

Fish sliced by an electric slicer, hardly need to say more, though the poorly cubed tough tuna in my spicy tuna roll was overpowered by shishimi togarashi, thus warranting the continuation of this review. Chicken yakitori tasted of very little aside from peppers despite there being no peppers on the skewer. Assuming used the same knife to cut the green onions, or less likely, the chicken was reared on a diet of only peppers. Place is nice looking, staff are pleasant, but at around £40 for a few unappetising bites and a beer thought it was way too expensive. It’s Itsu quality at nearer to Roka prices.

While the décor shows the owner’s Danish roots, the sushi and yakitori we had was absolutely delicious. They also serve quite a wide selection of sake, so if you’d like to try something a little different, they’ve got you covered. The menu offers either pick-and-mix style a la carte or a number of single or sharing set menus to choose from. Vegetarian dishes are plentiful and do not disappoint, if you prefer that. A great conclusion to a great day in Greenwich.

The food was really tasty interesting combinations full of flavour and with really fresh ingredients. Very nice cocktails too and beer, all compliment the food and flavours well. The only set back was thought it was quite expensive for what you get, but the quality is there and its a lovely designed restaurant very stylish.

The food is okay. It’s not traditional sushi, but if you want to mix it up a bit why not go for Danish sushi fusion? The interior is very Scandinavian, spacious and minimalist. The food is prepared in a lovely way, and our favorites were the meat skewers. We definitely preferred the skewers over the sushi, specifically the rib-eye and the lamb. The ribs were also to die for. When it comes to sushi, however, we all felt it was good but not memorable. The Ebi Tempural roll was the best out of the ones we ordered, but next time we’ll be sticking with the delicious(but also pricey) meat skewers.

Eating dinner in the building I eat for my eightieth birthday which wasn’t good. New place is sushi and the building beautiful, presentation beautiful. Food and service sucks!!! Twenty minutes to pay the bill after being told we only had the table for one hour.

Great interior so Danish style! Everything is quite simple decorated, especially the sign for toilets If you are a super Japanese cuisine fan you would not want to come here, but if you are fine with it but more enjoy a casual chatting night, definitely recommend.

This sushi restaurant from Copenhagen uses a different variety of ingredients, especially vegetables to create a unique experience. Definitely flavor combinations I haven’t experienced in the San Francisco area sushi restaurants, definitely worth a detour during your visit to Greenwich. Casual, not very expensive.
