Ordered them on hungry house. They were super late, but the curry itself wasn’t bad. The tikka masala was almost kind of mealy but in a way that tasted made from scratch.

My go to Indian takeaway. Moving down from Birmingham aka the land of the Balti, NOTHING was satisfying me in that department. Until my dear friend introduced me to Sweet Lemon and in particular their Vegetarian Thali. Not sure what to get? Big appetite? Not one of those die hard carnivores? Get the Vegetarian Thali. Trust me.

This is the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Ever. I’ve ordered delivery from them twice and both times have been fantastic. Last time, I ordered the set meal for one with jalfreezi chicken, mushroom balti, prawn puri, popadoms with mango chutney, and rice. It was more than enough for two meals for me, and was delivered in about 30 – 45 minutes. Everything was fresh and delicious. Great value; I highly recommend.

As a frequent visitor at sweet lemon, I feel compelled to say that I had one of the best curries ever tonight. The quality of the dish was amazing. The staff were as always professional and attentive.

Think the map location for this is wrong — it’s not in Chislehurst!!!

When you move to a new area it’s always hard to find a good take away. You know your old place won’t deliver this far but you’re reluctant to take a chance on one of the places that have poked a shiny, multi coloured menu through your door. Eventually it got too much for me and I decided to take my search to the internet. That’s where I found a couple of blogs mentioning a new place called Sweet Lemon. I managed to order online(through a company called Hungry House) and within an hour my order was there. And… it was delicious! We order a selection of curries, some rice, nann and poppadoms. The Lamb Sagg was particularly tasty, they must have been very liberal with the spinach. We also enjoyed our Bhuna although we thought it could have done with a bit more spice. The nann bread with good, if a bit thick for my liking but this was more than compensated for by some great crispy poppadoms and more-ish pilau rice with whole cardamon pods sitting proudly on the top. Sweet Lemon’s India food is very fresh and not at all greasy. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely use them again. So, for all of you still struggling to find a good takeaway to deliver may I recommend you give this place a try!
