I’m dumbfounded by the positive reviews on food. I went here with USA colleagues one of whom was from India but all of us love Indian food and eat it often all over the world. The food was just not good. This was probably my least favorite Indian food experience. The chicken tikka masala actually tasted like sugar. The palak planner was dry and tasted bad with no delicious flavor. The rice was blah, even the lemon rice didn’t taste like lemon. The samosa was boring and there was no sauce. Overall there was not a good dish and none of us liked it. The location is an awful hole in the wall and the service was bad. I would skip This one and I’m bummed I wasted a night on it.

Not a fan of the Indian food but this place definitely worths a visit. Good quality food, delicious taste, and nice and professional service. The price is also more than affordable considered the great server food, since the average main dish price is around 7 pounds. Definitely recommended.

Excellent staff will give you recommendations based on your flavor and spice preferences. The dish I had tonight was made with fresh ingredients and did not disappoint. I’d definitely return for a second helping!

We enjoyed a very delicious curry here this evening. We had the lamb sag and aloo gobi for mains, and the chicken tikka and samosa for starters. Definitely recommend it.

One of the best Indian food I ever had. It is very good from mild to spicy(my Chinese friend certified me the chili were real!). Food quality is definitely a 5 stars. Service is slow(count at least 30mn wait for your order) and the place not really cozy and comfortable(a lot of delivery guys in and out).

One of the best meals I had in London out of my 3 nights stay. Went on a Wednesday night where we ordered the fish bora and samsosas for apps, chicken tikki masala and lamb murgi masala for the entrees, with pilau rice and garlic naan on the side. All the dishes were amazing! Chicken masala smooth and creamy and the lamb masala a spicy curry mix. Soaked up the extra sauces with the naan. Orange slices for dessert put the finishing touch to the meal.

This place is so good nice and clean, the customer service is very comfortable and the food is so delicious. I ordered lamb Rajothi with Nan. It is just perfect plus the way they put it on table was very professional.

I stumbled upon this restaurant looking for a takeaway while away on business. The staff were nice and helpful, the food was great. Best indian i had tasted in a long time.

Great tasting Bangladeshi restaurant close to Westferry station. The service was friendly but a little slow. We ordered some poppadoms, curry, naan and rice with a bottle of wine. The food wasn’t too hot, although I think my friend’s was slightly spicier than mine. I went for something a bit different from the menu, so I’m not sure if this would could as traditional Indian food or not. It definitely tasted good. The price of our food was what you’d expect of an Indian restaurant, the location is definitely a strange one.

We ordered delivery directly from them. We ordered: — Chicken Biryani: £7.25 — not good — Bhindi Bhaji(okra): £3.25 — great — Chilli Masala(chicken): £6.95 — okay The delivery took about an hour as they have told us, which was fine, but I was disappointed with the food. It wasn’t great indian food but it satisfies your cravings. I would try another place before coming back here again.

Well priced and friendly service. Food is ok, and certainly typical of Indian restaurants in this style — i.e. questionable decoration, low lighting, all the usual dishes at the usual prices. I like it because it is convenient and filling, but it is not gourmet! Lamb dish was a bit tough; chicken dishes generally fine. Fish curry had large bones). Nice and spicy.

I was staying in the Travelodge in Docklands and had a sudden craving for a curry. It was a mile each way to walk but it was well worth it. Food tasted very fresh, full of flavour and it was proper flavour not just a generic spice heat. Had the Tandoori Mixed Grill which was superb. Not overcooked and tough which so many can be. Then the Dhansak which had a lovely heat to it but not too overpowering. Came in a large container which is unusual as most other places give you small containers. Huge pieces of chicken to top it. I will be back to this place when I am next in the area.

Solid curry. Be prepared to wait for your food. Everything is made to order. The lamb dishes were all very tasty. All in all just a good place to eat.

We’ve been here a couple times and the food has always been stellar. Best time to go is either for the lunch special, or on Mondays and Tuesdays they have a killer deal for 10.95 which includes an appetizer, entrée, side dish AND rice or bread. While it’s a boatload of food, it’s high quality, an often rare combo. Service is good, was better the first time we came probably b/c it was less busy. I also think they do a big take-away biz here too so if you see a big order come through you’ll most likely be waiting for a bit. The only thing about the special is that its 2 pounds extra if you order any fish item(appetizer, entrée or side) which they don’t make very clear but are sticklers about. Not a huge deal, but just nice to know. Definitely worth a visit out to the Docklands on a weeknight. Or for dinner following watching a match at Opporto pub next door.

A really nice little curry house(which we went to after seeing Slumdog Millionaire at the cinema in West India Quay lol). Bangladeshi staff who can’t do enough to please and the food is very reasonably priced. 2 courses, side dishes and lots of beer for under £40 for two. I had two specialities — Fish bora(spicy little salmon balls) to start and an east India ‘Balachori’ for main course — a meat dish with chick peas and potatoes — very filling and spicy. Very highly recommended if you want a reasonably priced meal reasonably close to the Wharf :)

My friend told me about this place some time ago so as I was in the area I thought I would give it a try. I arrived just after 1.30pm so I was in time for the lunch special. The lunch special is on Monday to Friday between 12 noon and 2.30pm. The good thing about this special is you get to choose ANYTHING from the menu unlike other lunch specials which just provide a couple of the most common dishes. I ordered Sheek kebab followed by Rezalla which was a kind of spicy tikka in a sauce(it was really delicious). I also got Aloo Gobi(potato and cauliflower). Topped with bread instead of rice I thought the whole meal was a bargain at only 9.95. When I found out I could get a free beer with this, well what can I say. I highly recommend this Indian if you want to taste some really unusual dishes and get the whole thing including a drink for a tenner!
