Not a fan! The staff was pretty rude, the first thing they did was point out that it’s cash only and £10/person minimum spend in a very short and rude tone. Since we were hungry and only had about an hour before our film started, we sat down anyway. Ordering food was easy enough and it didn’t take too long to arrive. I had ordered a main that was advertised to come with rice or chips. I decided on rice as I don’t particularly like chips. But when my food arrived the server pointed out that it came with couscous and he’ll bring me chips instead of the rice I ordered. I pointed out that I wanted the rice, which is why I ordered it but he kept insisting he’ll bring me chips. It was absolutely ridiculous. If I wanted chips, I’d have bloody well ordered them! The food was decent, I’ve had better but the price was reasonable enough. Probably wouldn’t return though as service is really bad.

Absolutely rude service. I got diarrhoea when I had their food! I had heard so much about the restaurant as I heard a lot about the place Not only did I get sick and left the place with a bad mood. They over charged me £30 because three of my friends met up with me for 10 min and then left. They over charged for absolutely no reason.

My first hookah in London — hopefully not my last! Had the blue mist flavor … It’s my go to. Always a winner Things to know : 1. No alcohol 2. 10 pound minimum per person 3. Cash only The blue mist costs 18 euro… Also got some soup and we got some Moroccan Tea as well. Friendly staff and the crowd is pretty chill as well. It’s all outdoor seating for hookah(not sure if they have indoor) so dress appropriately — they do have heat lamps as well

Nice place for Shisha, clean, open plan, outdoors and very relaxed. Amazing views of Canary Wharf and do some cool Lebanese and Indian dishes. Lots of Shisha flavours to choose from. The only thing I would say is that you have a 2 hour limit and there is no alcohol license!

When my friend told me that this place was a BYO and minimum spend was 20 pounds a person, I did not expect something this classy. It’s right by the waterfront by West India Quay station and has a great outdoors area, perfect for sitting outside but under a covering on a nice summer’s evening. I’ve heard that it’s crazy busy on Thursday and Friday nights, but on a Saturday, we didn’t even have to book for a party of 4, and were seated right away around 7:30 pm. The shisha is about 15 pounds for 2 people, and you have to have 1 for every 2 people. They also have these ice extensions that I’d never seen before, for an extra 2 pounds. They didn’t add much to the experience, but were cool for the novelty. As for the food, they have a great selection of Lebanese/Indian food. First we got the vegetarian mixed meze, which says that it serves 2, but is more than enough for 3 or 4 people. It’s ok, but nothing stellar. But my friend could not stop raving about Farruj Meshwi, which is a grilled baby chicken that comes with the most amazing garlic sauce. I was definitely impressed. As our other main to share between 3 people, we got the mixed biryani, but I was disappointed, as it was more like rice with some sauce stirred into it instead of the oily fried rice type of biryani that I grew to love when I was in India. So you’re probably better off sticking to the Lebanese stuff. Overall, food was decent, but that’s not what you’re coming for. It’s a killer venue with a great BYO policy and it just so happens to be cheap too. It was honestly hard to spend 20 pounds per head… maybe if you order 1 main per person, but there was just so much food as well! I wish London had more BYOs like this… in any case, definitely worth the trek out to Canary Wharf, and a neighborhood gem for those who work or live there!
