Temptations

This is one of my favourite places to go to before work, great food and really conveniently located next to Highbury and Islington station.
Working as I do in the foodie quagmire that is Leyton, Temptations provides fresh ‘Pret’ style food with fresh baguettes sandwiches and carb free salads (perfect post workout). They also do a very nice coffee (a double flat white for the win) and some great little pastries at the front counter.
The service is really great with the owners making an effort to know their customers and occasionally surprising you by knowing your order before you do! In addition they have a small hot lunch menu (that I haven’t tried) and they discount their fresh food after 7pm.
All in all a really nice, more personal, better quality alternative to Pret a Manger.
