A strong desire to do food shopping as you exit Waterloo station? Then this place is for you. Tiny and slightly cramped(especially if you have a guy in one of the aisles dragging his carry on trolley suitcaSe), Tesco express is your one stop shop for all food shopping. There is an aisle containing fresh fruits and veggies, aisles containing yoghurt, iced lattes from Starbucks in a cup, a costa coffee machine(press a button to get your own mocha latte or espresso — price is the same as going to costa — so that would be a better option), frozen meals section(look for marked down items — they are usually marked down by 50 percent), and a cereals, biscuits, chocolates and lollies aisle. There is also a baked goods aisle selling croissants, baguettes etc but was empty by the time I got there. Actually this place is seriously lacking baked goods and different types of bread. I couldn’t find sourdough, rye or ciabatta bread anywhere. Even the options for wraps were limited to wheat mission wraps and wholemeal pita breads. Thick wholemeal and white bread loafs were all I could find. Couldn’t even find eggs. Very disappointed. What do I now do for breakfast?

Yay! Glad this place is here! More choice for fresh and frozen foods and all the other things one finds in a Tesco, and the staff is helpful and this place is crammed with all manner of things, they’re bound to have what you’re looking for.
