This is the original Tesco experience, great staff, well mannered and helpful, clean and fully stocked. Apart from the odd beggar it’s a good shopping experience.

This tesco is nice because it is easy to get to from lots of places as it has loads of buses near it. It is okay and generally well stocked but there are times when it is missing key ingredients like rice krispies or oranges (which are, of course, essential to amny wonderful dishes like rice krispie cakes or chocolate coated oranges).
However it does have quite a good organic range as well as the tesco value range and stuff so it normally has everything you need.
There’s also a photobooth which, although it seems to be tempremental, can be useful :)
There are also cashpoints outside
And there are self checkouts and although these may seem like the height of entertainment, the other queues are normally shortet: P
And its good value for when you’re on a budget: D

This is my local Tesco Metro, I cycle here for all my grocery needs. It’s pretty convenient as I get everything here.
Here you will find everything from dairy, baking, health and cleaning products, frozen food to a great alcohol section. But because I have a baby face I always get asked for ID when I buy wine, which is a pain but I take it as a complement because I am almost 27. =)
The staff here are hilarious, on Christmas eve one of the till assistant was singing to each customer as she checked out their shopping. It certainly put a smile on my face.
The bakery section is good as well, there stock a large amount of slice pans and freshly made french sticks and buns.
We all like a fresh bun now and again.
