Not tried Ethiopian before — this was not only a great introduction but a memorable meal in itself, quite an achievement for a takeaway! Food outstanding. Highly recommend the Azifa(delicious lentil«salad» with something like horseradish), Suf Fit Fit(salad made with enjera bread!) and all the curry style mains — we had Missir Wot and Aterkik. Both based on pulses but very different and equally delicious. All this for £16 for the vegetarian platter — bargainous. We will be following up with a visit to the restaurant — can’t recommend highly enough if you are after an extraordinary takeaway.

Yum! I’m always on the lookout for tasty Ethiopian food and was delighted to find this place does takeaway. You can order by phone or text, although I actually placed my order the first time via another food delivery site. Now I just call directly and speak to Romana, whom I’m guessing is the owner. She delivers the dishes herself and always takes the time to explain about the different dishes and has on occasion included new dishes for me to try. It’s vegetarian, and most of the dishes are organic so not only was it delicious I felt like a good human as well :0) Be sure to remember the Enjera(injera) because it doesn’t automatically come with the mains. My favorites are Missir Wot(a spicy lentil dish), Aterkik Alicha(a tasty yellow split peas dish), Atakilt(which is my kid’s favorite and a very mild mix of carrots and cabbage), Gomen(stewed collard greens) and Egulal B Wot(which is boiled whole eggs in a berbere sauce) While some dishes like the lentils can be nice and spicy, others like the yellow split peas, collard greens and carrots and cabbage are mild but well seasoned and good for kids. I’ve become a bit of an addict and have been ordering regularly enough that they great me by first name when I ring for a delivery. All in all a great experience and I’ll be back for more!

Yum! I’m always on the lookout for tasty Ethiopian food and was delighted to find this place does takeaway. You can order by phone or text, although I actually placed my order via another food delivery site. I’ll definitely be ordering directly next time — as the staff was really helpful and informative. It’s vegetarian, and most of the dishes are organic so not only was it delicious I felt like a good human as well :0) I ordered the Shiro Wot, Atakilt and Gomen as well as Enjera, the Ethiopian flatbread which is used to pick up the food with. They also sent along Azifa, Missir Wot and Rice as complimentary items for me to try out other menu items as they are new. It was so nice of them and I’m glad they did as I think I’ve discovered a few new favorite dishes. I did order through a separate takeaway service, and it took that service 30 mins to transmit my order to Tezeta, who confirmed by phonecall once they received it. They also wanted to verify if I was vegetarian or vegan so as to customize my order to dietary preferences which I thought was really thoughtful. From that phonecall the food arrived about 25 minutes later so I felt they made really good time. The person who delivered it also took the time to explain about the different dishes which I found really helpful. All in all a great experience and I’ll be back for seconds and thirds!
