Good value and a lot of vegetarian choices/​halal. But otherwise nothing really special and recommendable. And they ask for tips

This restaurant was always just there but I didn’t think to go here as I didn’t think highly of East London restaurants but one day changed all of that!
It began with a last resort take away from this restaurant. But the taste of this take away was nothing out of the ordinary, it was absolutely delicious!
One day I decided to actually dine there and took my mum here for her birthday with my family and friends. My mum usually doesn’t like eating out in Asian restaurants, so for her to be satisfied with the food here says a lot! However, I’d suggest sticking to the main meals and desserts, as I didn’t think highly of their starters (but that’s their only pitfall, I promise!). The waiter was very lovely and gave my mum a dessert with a birthday candle lit on top under their own initiative! They gave my mum a lovely birthday experience and we all walked away feeling happy.
I’ve been here a few more times since then and for every single visit, the service has been superb. The staff are really friendly and go out of their way to please — I usually walk away with some sort of freebie, gift, or a simple smile on my face.
My favourite to order is the’ Southern Thai chicken’ from their special menu, with coconut rice. I always order this. It’s so Yuuummmyyy!

This place fails disappoint me!
Took my friend here the other day and she fell in love with That-​Thai straight away. Again awesome customer service, place was tidy and the food was divine! I spent over 20 quid and got me a free bottle of cola.
They did deserve one of those little a Unilocal card that say ‘you have been Unilocaled’ (placed card slyly on the counter).hope they found it lol
Also found out that they don’t accept credit card for take away’s.

Having ordered a two times from Thai Thai… must say the Green Thai beef curry is tasty — really nice, but thats about it. I found the rest of the orders quite mediocre.
I had ordered in the past Beef salad, Stirfried chicken in oyster sauce, Stir fried beef with chilli… Jungle curry… unfortunately all dishes lacked in authentic flavours, the salad was devoid of mint and chilli (I thought the beef salad was meant to have a kick!) and there was hardly any difference between beef and chicken stir fry flavours. Was very dissapointed with the Jungle curry. Tasteless peices of meat swimming in a tasteless broth and soggy veggies. Not nice… and to top it off, I had ordered stuffed chicken wings as a starter. which were miniscule, the stuffed section was a small as the chicken wing tip! Pointless.
If you want to eat a really nice Thai in the area, try ‘Tippy’s café’ accross the road. Food is spot on but unfortunately they do not deliver.
