Go here for the food and the nice beer garden!
It’s a posh-​ish brit boozer with lots of places to sit for bigger groups and a nice cozy atmosphere. The food is particularly good and the menu changes on a regular basis but they keep a similar theme throughout the weeks.
The menu is pretty tradition gastro pub I guess. They have a couple of red meat options that come with things like lovely hand cut chips or dauphinoise potatoes (which is soooo good). Through winter, there are things like venison, lamb shanks and ribeye. They usually have a risotto which I often go for. It’s one of the best pub mushroom risottos I have ever had (last time it had pheasant and truffle oil in it too and WOW).
They also have a great seafood-​ish pasta and a bowl of mussels. And antipasto. In fact, I don’t think you can really go wrong with the food.
The beer tap lineup isn’t quite craft, but it’s not fosters either. They have things like Adnams IPA, Kosel, Peroni and usually a couple of other interesting things. The wine list is ok as well. I wish they stocked London Cru Wines who are literally across the road!
There is a medium sized beer garden down the edge of the building which is lovely if you can get a table. There are TV’s there for sport.

Nice location, easy to find but not on a busy street. Lots of seating in the large bar downstairs, two rooms upstairs, and a large garden.
Has a classic pub look: fireplaces, wood paneling, small tables and cozy feel, without feeling like a Disneyfied creation.
Gastropub menu isn’t very large or imaginative, but the food was tasty and good amounts.

Great food for a «bar»! Service was friendly & attentive. Amazing atmosphere. The table next to us had two puppies, they were super cute and well behaved. Just a plus :-) would definitely go back.

Went for a quiet last orders pint. It’s a nice pub with a pretty beer garden but antagonistic, unfriendly staff.

the atlas is my local pub and an old friend. A mediterranean meets gastro pub menu which changes reasonably regularly (think italian sausages with mash, various pasta dishes, morroccan tagines etc). The bar has a good mix of beers and an extensive wine list. And they do a great pimms in the summer. There’s a small but perfectly formed courtyard garden with heating and a big awning that comes down like magic if it starts to rain. It can get REALLY busy if there’s an exhibition on, so pick your time!

A small local pub close to Earls Court and just up the road from Stamford Bridge. We visited on a Saturday when Chelsea were at home and an event was on at Earls Court… the pub was absolutely heaving!! After a short wait we got seated and I went to the bar to order food and
least three cask ales were on offer as well as a good selection of lagers, beers and wine. The food menu was extensive with a very strong Italian influence as most of the dishes were pasta of some sort. Despite the crowds, once ordered the meals were very prompt to the table. The portion sizes were large and the food was hot, tasty and superb value for money. The staff were both helpful and cheerful despite being rushed off their feet. A really good pub atmosphere and well worth visiting… I only wish it were fifty miles further east.

This is a great place for food and atmosphere — have had many a great night here. You can book out the rooms upstairs which we had a sit down dinner (for around 30) and stand-​up drinks (for around 50). It costs around £100 to book the rooms but if your party spend over £750 you get the room booking back. The couple of parties we had here both sit down dinners followed drinks we easily spent £750.
The food is great and the staff friendly — my husband even helped the chef plan the menu once (it changes weekly I think!)
There’s a fabulous soup that I always look out for — tomato soup with bread in it, an italian peasant dish.
Since we’ve had our baby we’ve been there twice and it’s not one of those pubs that frown on bubs! But it is very noisy (has quite a good buzz!) so if your baby can’t handle noise or if you’re planning to take someone wearing a hearing aide you might want to think again.

The Atlas performs the amazing feat of being both out of the way (hidden down a back street) and very accessible (two minutes’ walk from West Brompton station).
The bar has a nice, old-​school feel, with wood panelling and low light. High ceilings and big etched-​glass windows add to the chilled vibe. Sit by the fire, if you can, in the winter. There is also a lovely courtyard garden, with retractable roof for when it starts to precipitate.
There is a comprehensive wine list, ranging from affordable to ruinously expensive and a great selection of ales — London Pride is a regular, and guest ales have included Deuchars and the legendary Timmy Taylor’s Landlord. The beers are immaculately kept and served.
Food is as good as you will find in any gastro-​pub. Not cheap, but absolutely top notch, with an ever-​changing menu.
Like many London pubs, The Atlas has rather suffered from a high turnover of staff. It goes with the territory, but service is sometimes patchy, although generally good.
One structural difficulty of planning an evening is that you never know if the place is going to be empty or full. If there is an exhibition on at the Exhibition Centre, or Chelsea are playing at home, it can get absolutely rammed. If not, it can be spookily empty.
All in all, a great little pub for daytime or evening, summer or winter.

Staff are not the brightest bulbs in the box. I asked for a vegetarian pasta dish (pointed it out on the menu) and they served me a meat dish (at a glance you wouldn’t have known)…which I did eat until my dining companion suggested we might not be eating mushroom ragu… I’ve been vegetarian for 23 years and only eaten or served meat by accident three times… this was incident number 3!
Bar staff seemed pseudo aggressive/​defensive when I pointed out THEIR error. Manager was obviously apologetic and offered to remove the meal from the bill. But when I went to settle up they managed to give me the wrong bar tab!
Real shame as the pub is local to me and has a good friendly vibe, but I’ll think twice or even thrice before eating there again!

The Atlas is a sweet looking little pub just near West Brompton. I was initially a bit disappointed when I looked at the menu — the pub is Italien themed — I thought ‘why can’t you just have traditional English pub grub for once’. However that opinion all changed when I sampled the food. Its made using the best Italien ingredients and portions are generous. Its difficult to decide what to have there are so many yummy things on the menu! I am totally hooked now and have been back several times. Its also a nice spot just for a drink having a outside area, it would be a shame not eat too with such wonderful food on offer though!

Situated a few minutes’ walk from West Brompton tube, and about 10 minutes from the Earl’s Court Road, the Atlas makes a nice change if you are looking for a decent pub close to the Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre.
The pub itself consists of one large room with traditional wood-​panelled décor, with a small but pleasant patio area, complete with pot plants. They serve well-​kept Deuchars IPA (a very nice pint — recommended) alongside other real ales, and a decent wine list.
The Atlas was an early entrant into the ‘gastro-​pub’ phenomenon and, whilst I’m not normally a fan, the food here is imaginative and good, if a bit pricey.
The only quibble is the pub can get a bit crowded and sometimes noisy — but you can always escape out to the patio (well, in summer at least!).
