We visited the attic in January which was for a quiet drink as we weren’t looking for a heavy night. The place is very nice and has some great views of the Docklands/Canary Wharf The down side was too many local Europeans and locals who didn’t really dress up for the occasion. The bar staff were nice and drinks were tasteful and a reasonable price £10 per cocktail, 3 for £15 on shooters, £24 bottle of rose wine. We Also had some snacks from the bar with was baked camembert, these board and fries all of which was lovely. Very fast service. Not really a chilled night as expected, The DJ on the night was a bit lame didn’t really place great tracks and usually just left disks running on repeat. This is one of the best towers in London for beautiful views of the city at night. But Being in Canary Wharf business district it doesn’t get very busy which was good for us because we wanted a chilled night.

I’ve only been up to the attic a couple of times, but it is a simply stunning venue for sipping cocktails while you watch the sun set over London. I can’t remember the names of the cocktails we tried, but I remember one of them included chili and made my lips all tingly. Mmmm… If you want to get in, you can either go for dinner in Tomkins(on the ground floor) and then ask to head up for after-dinner drinks or… make friends with the lovely staff who can sneak you upstairs. The only way up there is with a key-fob to the elevators, so don’t expect to wander straight up. The prices are pretty ridiculous, but it’s an excellent place to treat yourself and feel rich for an evening. Unilocal admin folks: The attic looks like it is the wrong place on the map. I think the Postcode is actually E149HN

High atop the(east) Pan Peninsula tower it offers an expansive southeasterly view of Canary Wharf and beyond. The lounge is for residents only as the lift responses to key fob holders; guests accompanied by tenants are welcomed. Several clusters of tables and seats scatter throughout the venue, with the bar just around the corner from the lift. DJ was spinning a bit of hip hop on the night of my visit. Lights came on and music stopped around 1AM on that particular Saturday, It’s a small place, really. Maximum capacity is at best 50 to 60 people.

The Attic is specifically for the residents of Pan Peninsula Square but after a little schmoozing with the right people, I got my mates in for some after work drinks. Attic is on the 48th floor and you can defo see for miles of the exquisite London on the surround terrace(NOTE: Drinks aren’t permitted out there) The venue is a luscious 50’s inspired, neutral coloured haven that makes you think The Rat Pack will be showing up to belt out a tune or two. Plush seating and spacious areas to sip your oh, so expensive drinks from.(Note: there’s a 2 drink minimum if you’re lucky enough to get a booking, which is somewhat possible if it’s during the week — not on the weekends). We took lots of snaps & were happy to see ‘the gorgeous’ people that populate the space after work. Yes, we were watching for jeans & trainers. The bar staff was friendly, attentive and mixed up some potent libations. If you can, stop by for the views indoors & out! Gorgeous place.
