I’m afraid I find that the more hotels I have to say in for work, the more I know what I like and this isn’t it. I’ll just list the issues it’s quicker 1. Location isn’t great at least 10min(brisk) walk to any of the 3 nearest tube stations or the Barbican after which it is named!(Stations were: Barbican, Old Street, Angel with Old Street feeling the closest). 2. No free wifi I’m afraid this is unforgivable these days. I had access to free wifi all the way down to London on the train, I had access to free wifi all day at the conference then come the evening in a hotel that wasn’t cheap I go to look on Qype for a place to eat and they want me to pay BT a bloody fortune to log in. I DONOTTHINKSO!!! 3. The bath wasn’t full size I’m sorry but I’m 6’3 and the chances of me soaking in that tub after a long day on my feet was zero. Why would anyone stay here? There are much better hotels much closer to tube stations.
