Have been here a few times. Good coffee, food looks good although I’ve never tried, always busy but have been able to get a seat. Reasonably priced.

A great café to pop open the old notebook/lappie and start tapping away on the next great American novel. Also good for families too though, apparently. Prams are a frequent blight on this corner café, but if that’s your thing then — party! The Blue Corner has decent coffee(for England), a range of pastries and light lunches and the staff are usually good for a chat. There’s a bookswap in the corner. Can’t read? Doesn’t matter, I’d sit near it anyway. Makes you look intellectual. Wouldn’t hurt to lay out the chess set either. Price-wise you’re in luck, this café is reasonable for Hammersmith. And you’ll love the fact that you don’t feel like you’re in a chain café. You’ll find me there with a bundle of paperwork, escaping the office. But don’t say hi, I’m busy working.
