Old style pub. Place where everyone knows everyone. Prices are steep. Bulmer cider for 4.35! No free WiFi was a negative. Toilets were clean and the lady publican was friendly.

Does the job, beer and cider is ok. Avoid the wine and don’t talk to the locals — they won’t be able to hear you through the booze-​haze anyway.
Jukebox well stocked and seats comfy, but lights a bit bright and would benefit from free wi-​fi.
Proximity to the station is the key to this place, ideal for a quick pint while waiting for your train. Definitely not one for a date or relaxing conversation.
Oh but totally better than The Bell (Mill Hill Broadway’s only other pub).
