In Ye Olden days shopkeepers and assistants were super polite lest their customers scuttle off to Arkwrights emporium of slightly cheaper goods and grovelling around the corner. The Carphone Warehouse in Balham clearly bypassed learning the essentials of customer service unless that includes patronizing the customer, arrogance, flaunting of your latest expensive bling, extreme knowledge of everything in the universe and especially that which the customer might venture an informed opinion on. I’m not a massive fan of staff that«exaggerate» to manipulate customers into a better sale either… I wonder what their commission structure is based on??? This place scores very high on my «I wouldn’t piss on it to put out a fire scale». Carphone Warehouse bosses take note if you read this and plan a few anonymous visits or mystery shoppers. It’s a real shame I’m not a T-Mobile customer because the guys in the shop next door are great…
