Very poor service. I had a girl tell me that they are out of a carrier they were advertising. Really? Then asked for recommendations and she told me she didn’t know. Uhm, ok whatever. Left and went down the street to the 3 store where they got me set up with a sim. Ridiculous that a place whose sole function is to sell sims and phones won’t help you understand the carriers so you can buy a sim or keep them in stock.

This nightmare began online, where we ordered a phone and a plan. I received a prompt email confirming my order, but saying that the application was still being processed. It said that if the application were to be denied, an email with the reasoning would be sent. Since I’m fresh off the boat, we put my name on the account and used my husband’s credit to buy the phone. We figured it would have told us we couldn’t do that if it wasn’t possible, and this was our mistake. I never received another email, but figured everything was fine, and the system was malfunctioning, so three days later, I walked nearly an hour(I’ll admit, I’m new here and went the wrong way, so it was my fault that it took so long) to get to the store. I get there, and all of the staff with the exception of one is huddled together chatting. This is fine. No other customers were currently in store, but when a customer comes in, break it up and assist. C’mon, guys! The one guy on his own asked a member of the huddle squad to assist, and she was clearly brand spankin’ new. She had to ask for a log-on from another guy, who took his sweet time to get up, yet continued the conversation as he moved toward assisting me. They asked for the order number and he turned the monitor to verify that it was my name on the screen. The guy huddler sent the girl to the back to get it and I waited. She came back empty handed. I ask what that means. He shrugs and says«it’s not here. You can come back tomorrow». What the hey-now! This was getting ridiculous and I told him as much. I ordered the phone three days ahead, the email says it takes two business days to get in, and I was there in plenty of time. This whole deal was seeming quite unprofessional and a bit seedy. No email. Nothing in store. The associates in store were just expecting me to come in every day to check in. I asked if there was some way to tell where the mobile is in the process of shipment, as I have no intention of just coming back in to find that it’s not there again. Yes, he tells me, he can look. Oh. My. God. Why didn’t he do this before? He looks into the account, and it shows the application was declined. No reason, but we assume that it was because we put both of our names on the application. We asked for a reason, but the associate told us we had to talk to the website. I emailed them to request an email that provided us with some sort of written documentation that the application had been cancelled so we didn’t end up moving on, doing something else, and then find out CPW had processed it. Nothing. No response. My husband emailed them, and they said that I had to give them specific permission to let him get that information, which would involved sending a letter with a signature. Finally, I replied to that response to my husband, letting them know that there should be no need of such a letter or signature in order to get the rejection email I was promised in the first place. This morning, we finally have received an email saying everything was cancelled. Still not exactly what I asked for, but way better than nothing. What a welcome to the UK. Ugh.

You’ve been downgraded. You told me 14 days. After 14 days you told me that you *actually* told me 28 days… which by the way, you didn’t. It’s been 30 days. Gimmie my phone back.

Rubbish Rubbish. Don’t go here! I went in with a broken phone and here is what did i get? — a rude greeting(if you could call it that), told that i would have to go without my phone for 14 days at a minimum while they fixed it. this is exactly why i pay insurance so i dont have to deal with situations like this! The girl serving me was rude, unhelpful and lacked product knowledge. some Carphone Warehouses are fine — but not this one!
