Although not busy it took a long time to be served a pint that needed to be topped up which took a lot of «discussion» before it was reluctantly topped up. THISPUBHASNODISABLED a FACILITIES, the toilets are down a steep set of stairs

This is a very unfriendly and overpriced little pub with terrible service from the bar staff. The beer tasted was beyond its best and the less said about the food the better. Note This pub has NO disabled facilities, the only toilets being down a steep set of stairs

Popped in for lunch as we was nearby and didn’t want to walk too far due to the rain. Was quiet so got good service. Ordered the soup of the day which was Cream of Mushroom served with crusty bread which was lovely. Compared to the last time I was there. Seems like it has been renovated as looked a lot more modern and fresh. Would go again.

A smallish pub tucked away slightly off the main drag. It can get a little crowded in the front of the house, but there’s additional seating with dining tables in the back. There’s occasionally a live piano player which is kinda fun. The wine list is ok, and there are several beers to choose from as well, although less of a selection than most of the other pubs we visited. Service was a bit slow but nice enough overall.

Had a great meal at the Crown last week.(2÷27÷11) We were seated upstairs in the dining room. The cook and bar man were both very friendly despite having had a very busy afternoon. Shepherds pie was fabulous!

I loved this little gastropub. It has a neighborhood feel with a mix of SW3 locals and the after-work crowd. We shared the smoked salmon starter, which was almost a meal in itself and excellent value at £7. My friend was sceptical to hear The Crown had the best burgers in London, but he was quickly won over. I opted for the steak, which was perfectly cooked and reasonably priced at £14. The new owner Justin Kerr-Smiley is a former journalist who just published a book of fiction called«Under the Sun», and he was very friendly and welcoming. He introduced us to a few of his television friends in the pub after supper and it nicely rounded off a very pleasurable and memorable evening. We’ll be back.

The sign outside indicates that they are under new management. Their website indicates that either the new management does not update the website, or that the sign has been there for 5 years. Also they call themselves London’s first boutique pubjust wtf does that mean? I think it is the former, rather than the latter. having read the odd review I’ve found elsewhere it sounds like it was a delicate looking boutique pub. I certainly didn’t get that impression. I thought the furniture was quite interesting(I liked the chairs) rather than expensive or posh. The pub was a narrow layout that I liked too, somehow. 2 ales on tap. I had a well kept pint of tributebut was slightly short measured. I’ll let them off that though because they let me have a big pint of water with ice on an extremely hot summer day. Torn between a 3 and a 4I’m going to give it a 3. I was leaning towards a 4 as I think the new management may be taking things in the right direction, but I’ll review it as is for now and that will give me an excuse to come back a few months down the line. I’d certainly recommend giving it a go.
