Gucci’s to Builders Boots and what lies between. «A Fiver at most — for an All In Café Nosh». … Open Saturday breakfast, which Really helps. You will not find Any better in NW8. I have eaten in this Friendly Local’s Café for over 35 years. A smile and a good cup of tea; quick breeze of the paper and enjoy. Great Job to Kelly and The Girls.

The Gammon Rasher certainly stands out from its surroundings in St Johns Wood, where the high street is dotted with the likes of furriers, high end restaurants, and all sorts of shops for the posh. This little workman’s café is like an oasis to all the blue collar folk who find themselves in the neighbourhood. You’ll not find any fancy fare here, no sir. But if it is a fried breakfast you are after, then look no further. My personal favourite is the five item breakfast, a steal at £4.50, and you get free tea and toast to boot! That being said, this is an occasional occurrence, for I’d surly be dead of heart failure if this was a regular eatery. It can be especially helpful after a night of one too many drinks, and popping in for a bacon sandwich in the morning can make the difference in a hungover day.
