One of my locals! So cozy — can’t wait to go in Fall/Winter, when I imagine it to be even more festive. And our dogs love it!

An interesting pub to come for food and drink, a funny mix of a crowd in here, from pin stripped jacketed West London types, to Worlds End estate drinkers, everyone seemed to be having a good time. Wide selection and wines, ciders and lagers. Big doors and windows opened up on a summers nights gives the place a good feel, especially if you get a seat by the door and watch the comings and goings of Fulham Rd.

«I actually liked the place, I’d go somewhere else for food. Maybe we didn’t order the right thing», says my wife. I agree. We had Sunday roast and it was ok, but we’ve had much better at the Landbroke Arms and Thomas Corbitt among others around town. Great staff, nice pub to watch a game in, but maybe do the serious eating somewhere else. It’s more old time pub grub than, sorry to perpetuate the overused term, ‘gastropub’ food.

A very smart looking gastropub full of smart looking people… and the counter opposite: me. I like the vibe here… kind of pub meets farmhouse meets reclaimed tube station. On a cold night, it was warm, fuzzy and vibrant. They do seem to have a pretty creative menu though we had already eaten. Others will have to judge the fare. All I can do is judge the mojo… and it was swinging.
