Aw, lovely. I came here for coffee and for working and both were nice. It’s quaint, it’s well lit, there’s nice really good food all around(a nice friendly vegetarian eats). It’s not a giant spot but there is plenty of room to sit and chat and grab a coffee and get some work done. I haven’t been back since my first time but I wouldn’t not come back. In fact, I just may this week.

I came here because my mom and visiting and staying nearby. I live a little farther away but I will definitely be back again soon. I didn’t even know(or particularly care) that it was vegetarian. We went three days in a row because of the delicious breakfast. I know nothing about the other food but if you are around before noon, check this place out. The lattes are made perfectly and even with some of the latte art I love but I know I have no ability for. My personal favorite are the blueberry pancakes folded around yoghurt with maple syrup. I’ve never had anything quite like them and fell in love. The place itself is adorable. There is a pretty garden in the back and inside there are tables and couches and displays of things they sell around the café. Just go. Try it.

Solid vegetarian food, with slightly less earthy/crunchy in the air than I’m used to in similar cafes around the world. I like that the edges are polished and there’s a bit of a posh feel to this little café. I’ve had some of their food and, despite it trying a bit hard, is really quite nice. I’ll be going back again when I fancy a no-meat lunch that’s a bit different. What stands out for me is their flat white coffee – really good – and not anywhere to be found nearby. They sell fresh bread that looks very nice and quite a few upscale looking food in jars and boxes on their shelves. That’s not for me, but nice to have the option! Relative to the rest of most of the other options in Bethnal Green, this place is a gem.

Low key, friendly, vegetarian café next door to a Buddhist centre. I had a chickpea pastilla/bastilla with chick peas and harissa sauce, tasty, big and at £3.50, a bargain. Good if you want a quick feed. There are always a few people lounging with a paper, taking their time in the tranquil atmosphere.

A welcome addition to Bethnal Green: Decently priced decent food. A nice posh-looking café with kind of expensive but pretty decent coffee, nice salads, and organicish juices and whatnot. I’ve tended to avoid the slightly overpriced daily specials, but the salad selection(there are usually 3 – 4 inventive & filling salads that you can get with a Spanish tortilla for around a fiver. Totally decent, nothing special, which is unfortunate, given the utterly massive choice of pubs in the area.

Situated in the back of the Buddhist Centre, it’s a great place for Sunday breakfast/lunch or for stocking up your home larder with good stuff:) The earthy colours provide perfect environment for the organic, solely vegan and vegetarian dishes they serve. Choice is quite limited(around 10 dishes), but well composed. You can complement your lunch with homemade cakes(also with vegan selection and they taste surprisingly good!) and decent coffee. The little garden in the backyard and the children area gives it homely, relaxed feeling. Plus friendly and efficient stuff. They also offer organic products from independent companies, like granolas, chocolates, chutneys, jams, pastas, etc.(slightly more expensive than in the shops though).
