Aw, it was cute. Look, this isn’t going to be top grade, top of the line, top anything café. But I’ll tell you this, it’s got lots of seating, the staff are attentive(if just a little rude) and the tea is strong. Plus, they’re damn quick. We ordered our tea and scones with the jam and cream and before we could blink, they seemed to be there. Boom! It was cheap(we did afternoon tea for £7) and it was lovely. Yes, everything was a little run down and the windows got crazy steamed up, but I had a nice celebration tea here. It’s quaint in the nicest kind of way.

I went here for a traditional English breakfast. While the place is quite pretty and looked like nice pastries, the traditional English breakfast was quite bland. The sausage had no flavor. Nor did the scrambled eggs. And the bacon was tough. I was in another part of the UK the day before and had a terrific English breakfast, so I definitely have a reference of what it can be like. I also ordered it with latte. This was a mistake as it came out boiling hot. After eating my breakfast I still could not even attempt to drink the latte as it was scalding hot. So overall, the meal was disappointing. Again, the place was quite quaint and nice, I just wouldn’t recommend going here for their traditional English breakfast.

adorable. Im from the US and it was a great place to grab traditional English afternoon tea at an affordable price. Delicious, atmosphere was perfect. I would have liked slightly more attentive service.

Positives: –Easy walk from Tube(High Street Kensington) –Variety of options at decent prices –Ordered some sandwiches and tried a friend’s tea. Both were tasty and the ‘wiches were filling. Neutral/Negative: –Cash only, which is an inconvenience to the customer but not a deal-breaker. –Service is okay, not exceptional but I am fond of servers who make a little small talk. They got the job done with a smile on their face. –When the place is busy, the inside gets cramped. Luckily there is outdoor seating as well. Overall: I plan on returning and trying more things!

This is a cute little breakfast/brunch spot. The tea and english muffins are great but the cakes were meh. Service is alright. They have a cash only policy.

Decent sandwiches and cakes, served relatively quickly, even during the lunch rush. Just around the corner from HS Kensington Underground.

I loved this place so much I went every morning during my stay in London. The hot tea set up is great, I went with the caramel. The scones were delicious, and I also loved the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon on toast. The service is fine, the prices are fair, the only challenge is that they are cash only. They do however accept dollars which was nice. If you are looking for a cute little place to have traditional english tea, this is your place!
