I love this place! Yes, I truly love this place not just for the reason that this was the beautiful inn where my lovely bride and I hosted our wedding reception during what was England’s hottest-ever summer since records have been kept. Yes, it was an easy walk down West Temple Sheen from Christ Church where we celebrated our nuptials. The food is really lovely whether brunch, lunch or dinner and the over stuffed chairs whilst swilling down wine and waiting for your table provide a moment of bliss. If after you’ve had a couple pints at The Plough down the road and are in need of sustenance for the remainder of your day or evening, please, take the little walk through this lovely neighborhood and sup with friends at Victoria Inn.

Really good pub for lunch or dinner. It was done up a few years ago and has become much more of a gastropub instead of an old mans pub– gaining some charm for me. Food is meant to be excellent — I have only ever heard good things. I am aware that it is not pub prices — it is a tad more expensive. Nice seating area outside and again a nice place to go and relax on a summer evening with friends.

Ahh Qype, how I adore thee. We needed to find a nearby eatery where we could fill our bellies before some geeky ‘geocaching’ in the park, so I switched on my Qype Radar iPhone app and followed the little dot to this sweet gastropub. If I could give this place 3.5 stars I would, but I plumped for three in the end simply because of the prices. Starters were about eight quid a pop, with main courses around the fourteen /fifteen mark. And although the food was delicious and the service was spot on, I think they could have easily knocked a couple of pounds off each dish… or given us slightly bigger portions! Recommended nonetheless, but perhaps more suitable for a special occasion rather than a quick bite to eat.

Really good Gastro Pub with the Food looked after by Paul Merrick ex Michellin star. The bar is unpretentious with nice décor and seperate restaurant area out the back. Feel relaxed and always well looked after with a very strong food offering. Saturday brunch is good.

Since its refurbishment, this is a welcome little hideaway near Richmond Park that combines restaurant, pub and hotel. The restaurant is cosy, but manages to take in three separate areas — outside, a light, airy conservatory and a homey interior area by a fireplace. The bar is round the corner and fairly quiet, but serves a few nice beers and wines. Run by a chef, the food here is typically excellent, and there are speciality menus at times, and a credit-crunch dinner on Mondays and Tuesdays. Most of would particularly recommend Saturday brunch.
