This pub is nice, nothing special but nice. It is a two floor pub. The basement floor is not as crowdy as the ground floor but it is not big as the ground floor. It has got a big bar where you can order almost every type of wine and cocktail. The music is very loud, so i think(not sure altought) that is like the«disco part» of the pub. There arr a couple of tables but i think you have to book them. The ground level is alwesy super busy. A lot of people coming throug. The bar is always crowdy and you have to wait a wile to be served. By the way i am used to drink white wine and at the Warwick is quite good. At the ground floor there are many tables even if they are always busy as in this pub is possible to have dinner, so waitresses give tables to who will enjoy the dinner. The music at this floor is not high so you can talk to everybody! By the way is a nice pub near Piccadilly.

Pretty cramped seats … Ppl kept kicking my seat at least 5 times when walking past … I got elbowed once. And there are quite a diversity of tourists when I went there … Not everyone s as polite . Tips for this is: bring someone u like so u tots immerse in the conversation and forget the environment. Equally u can bring someone u don’t like, so they get elbowed all the time. Jk

I’m not too happy with this place. I went there on Saturday with my boyfriend and another couple. I checked the website on Friday and we could sign up each for a free glass of champagne. So I got everyone to sign up. We got there and presented our vouchers but were told that the systems were down and have been down since the day before and so they can’t honour the offer. The bar staff said just keep the voucher and come back another day, he didn’t even ask whether I wanted another drink! I think its rude that they advertise this offer online, not fix the ‘systems’ problem, get all our details as we sign up and not even bother to apologise or honour what’s been promised.

I came hear with a group of friends around midnight on a Thursday. We decided to pop in after hearing music blasting outside earlier in the evening, and we came to a nice restaurant-turned-bar where we could pick a table to sit or stand around and drink. Bartenders were generally quick, and prices are typical of a restaurant/bar in the area. I personally whiskey shots at 5 pounds each, and beers were approximately the same price. Lots of young professionals around!

A very nice pub with wooden furniture and nice music. Unfortunately there were not so many people dancing since the space is almost all taken by tables and chairs. However it is good for drinks and chatting since it is usually very quiete.

A+ for music!!! And not having overcrowded dance floors! The entrance fee is not too bad, and the late hours provide for a good go to especially in the touristy area it’s located in. The interior is comfortable with separated tables but floor for dancing! And the staff is very friendly.

Un samedi soir à se ballader dans les rues entre Piccadilly CIrcus et Oxford street, une copine et moi cherchions à boire une bière. Entre les bars qui accumulent une foule devant les portes et d’autres sans personne, la demi-mesure n’existe pas. Nous sommes finalement rentrés ici, The Warwick.

Great location. Poor service. OK food. Great Happy hour. We just got finished walking down regent street and stopped in here. The area was packed due to the gumball 3000 and this place had decent prices and a place to sit. The service was pretty poor, but being a fat lazy American I do have different expectations. The food was ok. I ordered the chicken caesar salad but they were out of chicken, so I got a salad without the chicken. They gave me 25% off. My girlfriend ordered the humus and cucumber. The bread and humus were great but we found a hair on one of the cucumbers. The best part about the place is the happy hour. At 1700 it’s 50% off beer and wine, among many other offers.

I popped in here with a colleague after a client meeting for a debrief and a quick tipple(it was towards the end of the day!) We sat in a nice roomy booth and spread ourselves out over seats that could have accommodated 6 people. I went up to the bar and ordered two«Spicy Pear Mojitos» and the smaller cheese board as we were both a little peckish. The drinks were nice — really warming and the touch of cinnamon on the top was delicious. However, the barman blew the excess cinnamon off the top — which really was almost like spitting in the drinks. Plus, on the second go he obviously huffed a bit too hard and managed to blow most of the ice out too. I gave that one to my unsuspecting colleague… The cheese board however was really good value — three types of cheese(goats cheese, a huge piece of cheddar and some blue), some bread, oat biscuits and really nice chutney for about £7 wasn’t bad at all. We also tried their coffee, which was fine. I think the day atmosphere is probably better than the evening crowd — it started to get rather busy as the evening started and a shifty looking chap came and sat in our booth with us, something I would personally never ever ever ever do. We left soon after, and I swear I caught a glimpse of him finishing off our cheddar… I’m not sure I would go back there.

Very very average. I always have my doubts about any bar serving day sweaty punters badly cooked steaks at 10pm whilst everyone else is drinking and dancing. Can you spell microwave? Pints are £6. Dislike

I don’t like pubs that try to hype themselves as cool bars/lounges. I don’t like pubs that offer the crappiest beverages on the freebie offer… keep it, I’ll just drink water I don’t like pubs that have to check people’s bags & purses before they enter… what is this Cell Block H? I don’t like pubs that blare music so loud I have to shout to the person sitting next to me. I DO like leaving places like this.

What else can I say besides same same? There are a host of these bars around London that are owned and run by the same company that runs the happy hour specials. They offer a great 50% off drinks and platters which is a great deal but they all look and feel the same. It is a little loud and gets really crowded but I think this is where my age is showing. The food platters are a little bleh but again, can’t complain too much as it’s a real cheap night out. Since it’s same same, you can probably find a slightly cleaner and less cruddy bar offering the same drink specials. But if you are going there, it’s only worth going for happy hour.

Meh. I was not impressed with The Warwick’s attempt to turn from pub into a bar after 9pm. As a pub, I’m sure it would be just fine with the usual pub grub and standard beers/ciders on offer. It’s downstairs, in the slightly seedily named Crystal Lounge, where it’s suffered a knock to the head and believes its calling to be a bar/lounge with hyper loud music and over priced drinks. The thing is, it still looks like a pub downstairs. It’s got a bunch of tables and booths, some awful lighting, and a very limited«dance floor» area. Even the DJ was put in as an afterthought(or so it appeared) as his deck was perched at the end of the bar. What you are confronted with is a place where you can’t talk(short of screaming your head off) and you can’t dance. So what do you do? Well a drink seems in order. Ah, problem. Despite the full range of alcohols against the wall, the bartenders, and I use this term loosely, don’t seem to have any training in making a cocktail. The bloke next to me tried to order something which was even on the menu and the bartender took the menu to look at the ingredients. It wasn’t rocket science as I’m pretty sure the drink was supposed to be a mojito, yet it came out pink. I honestly am still confused as to what happened there — maybe an inadvertent dash of grenadine or sweet vermouth? Seeing the debacle, I thought I’d stick to beer. That should be easy enough, right? Nope. It took 3 tries to get the word beer across(I’m a loud guy but damn if the music didn’t drown me out) and then was told it was a fiver per bottle(there are no taps downstairs for a pint). I don’t mind paying a bit more for my drink if the atmosphere warrants it, but when in a pub setting I expect a pint for about 3 squids. To sum it up, I got there just after 9 and was out by 10. I’m easy to please when it comes to drinks(although I admit I have a taste for the finer side of things such as the Nightjar), but there is a line and the Warwick crossed it. Shame as it’s a cracking location. Probably best kept in mind for the happy hour(which now includes Champagne… here’s looking at you CMs) but not for a night out.

Meh! Warm wine, slow service, crap music. I’ve been to better bars to be honest and there are so many places in the near vicinity I won’t be hurrying back. One rude bar girl huffed, puffed and slammed things about when we politely pointed out my glass of white wine was warm(euw!) but then all other members of staff were very smiley, friendly and polite so I’ve upped them a point(can’t let one person pull everyone down!) This place isn’t terrible but it’s so mediocre that I’d say unless you really can’t be bothered to find somewhere else then… well…just find somewhere else!

A shocking lack of any ales, a near-criminal exhaustion of the Staropramen after I’d had just one pint… I wasn’t too impressed with this place. Until a steady stream of rarely-heard classics started piping their way over the sound system: Gorillaz, Madonna’s ‘Music’, MJ’s ‘You wanna be startin’ somethin’ ‘. So reliable in fact was the quality of the music that fellow Unilocaler Ian P’s raising of his forefinger to signify the playing of a ‘Tune’ rightfully became a regular event. Service was prompt and friendly. It’s possible too that there are other redeeming features to this place that I wasn’t aware of, like the large menu of food next to where we were sitting, which I didn’t try. If you’re happy with standard lager and like your atmosphere lively, you’ll probably like the Warwick. Personally though, with no shortage of other bars to try in the area, it’s not a place I’ll be hurrying back to. Unless I start experiencing withdrawal symptons for hits of the early 2000s.

We arrived almost an hour early and was pleased to see that our area had already been prepared. The décor is playful with a mix of themes and a standard range of beers on draughts. I really wanted to give this place four stars but when I brought to the attention of the barmaid that my friends drink was warm. She huffed and puff and blow my house in. I was so unimpressed with her frosty attitude and if I let it she could have cooled my mood and enjoyment. However as I don’t take such things personally we’ll forgive her… this once! Plus I can’t have anybody putting me off my pint of black creamy stuff. The evening progressively got worse as the bottles of wine we were served were warm. Although, an ice bucket was provided it had a piddly little amount of ice in the bottom that could not keep a cold thing cold. It was a very mixed evening, I liked the space and the atmosphere, but the customer service varied from great to very poor. I would go again but just hope I encountered the serving staff on a good day.

Fun times! They have a special 50% menu for all of St. Patricks week. No green beer but I learned to mix Guinness with a few other choice drinks. My new favorite is to add an Amaretto to the Guinness. It’s like drinking an almond chocolate drink. So Good! Thank you for the hats, glow sticks and I don’t know how but our table of 8 got free drinks mixed Jameson and appetizers. We all asked who to thank but got no response so I’ll post my gratitude here. Thank you to whoever was so kind to send it over. Even on an insanely packed St. Patrick’s day we had no trouble getting service. I think it has to do with how far your table is from the bar. Ours were right in front. If the bar is too crowded for you upstairs. Try the bar downstairs. You have to yell a little less and better music!

Good food here that comes fast! When we ate here around late lunchtime we could see many people had reserved tables for after work. so I guess it’s a popular destination. The fish and chips was HUGE. I thoroughly enjoyed how it was wrapped in the fake old timey newspaper and it was a good meal. My boyfriend had a burger here and liked it a lot; we basically left here stuffed. Very friendly service and an easy place to sit down and enjoy yourself.
