Not a great burrito, but it’s a fast, cheap option not far from the train station. Love the music and décor inside. Want to try their chicken quesadilla but it’s not available before 3pm

Tortilla is a great place to get a burrito. I have visited Tortillas all over London and they are usually consistent. They give you a decent portion, which is tasty and excellent value for money. You can pick which fillings you have & can customise the salad & sauce options. My favourite burrito is the Barbacoa, withe the Carnitas being my next best.

There is a lot of competition in the Burrito market place and when I stumbled across Tortilla I was doubtful it would be up to the standard I’d enjoyed at Chipotle. Thankfully, I gave it a chance because it’s now my go-to London Burrito stop. I’m a big guy, with an appetite to match, so when I saw on the board that I can get DOUBLEMEAT — and you can mix and match it, I was over the moon! The prices are good and portions are excellent. I’d give it 5 stars, but I’m saving that for my next visit to Carlito Burrito in Brighton, which is the best burrito EVER. Chipotle Sourcream?! Are You Serious!!!

One of our favourite places for quick snack while out and about in Wimbledon. Burritos are great and ready in no time. Place looks great and food is top notch. Actually prefer it over Chimichamgas down road.

IMHO, not as good as across the board as Chipotle up the road(the Buritto bowls are lacking). But I do like the fact that there is portion control, you get a choice of sizes with most things. The absolute best thing in my opinion is the Valentina hot sauce on the tables. Can’t get enough.

Cheap quick burrito take out or casual bite to eat in the restaurant. Not fine dining but great for a quick stop gap.

When I was in California, Chipotle was an at-least-once-a-week thing. Then I moved to Wimbledon, where there is only one Chipotle and squealed with joy, only to me so disappointed at the lack of flavour. UNTIL I METYOU, TORTILLA! Tortilla, you are the like the last piece of dip on my chip — I gotta have it! Seriously — mad flavour packed into each bite. The naked burritos are delicious and the regular burritos are just, beautiful. Great staff, clean restaurant and fast, tasty food. What else do you want?

i had no idea tortilla had arrived in wimbledon. I normally get mine when on a day our in city. So it was a lovely surprise to stop off here for lunch. The usual fair of buriitos. and the oh so hard choice of what beans black or white — so being a typical cant make my mind up i have both — yes they do allow you to do this. i have been tempted to try the steak but got got a very chewy one at another branch so it has put me off. all in all if you are looking for a cheap homely meal in a one hand roll well this is for you

I love Mexican and I love this chain! Tortilla offers eat in or takeaway burrito’s and taco’s which make it easy for on the go as well as when you have time to chill! Tortilla in Wimbledon is one of the better restaurants within the chain due to it’s vibe and being located close to the transport links as well as service and fresh food! I love it here!

I wouldn’t say this place sets my world on fire, but it does hit the spot if you’re hungry, which I was when I went. Get the steak burrito! as why have chicken, when you could have steak?!

Out of all the Cal-Mex burrito locations popping up in London(Chilango, Chipotle, Mexicali etc) Tortilla is by far the best. Brilliant food and service. Everyone make sure to give this place a go. It’s the best restaurant n the Broadway!

I spied Tortilla’s sign on Wimbledon Broadway last week, announcing the arrival of Californian Mexican fast food in my corner of town. Did I consider this: 1. the end of civilisation with the invasion by the latest American fast food craze? or 2. a pleasant addition to the variety of different cuisines available to the discerning palates of south west London? Actually, I had attended a YEE at Tortilla’s branch in Leadenhall Market and heard first-hand from the founders of Tortilla about their philosophy about using fresh ingredients and their passion about bringing the Californian style of Mexican cuisine that they missed so much from home Tortilla have a production line way of assembling your Mexican fast food of choice. You start by choosing a flour tortilla(burrito) or taco(corn tortilla), both of which are available in 2 sizes. You then choose between grilled chicken, pulled pork, grilled steak(50p extra) or vegetarian option as the main filling. Then you move onto other toppings — lime/coriander(note that they use the American ‘cilantro’ for coriander) or Mexican rice, black or Pinto beans and salsa, which comes in 3 different heat strengths. A final topping of sour cream and Monterey Jack cheese from the USA finishes off your creation unless you want guacamole for 70p more. The burrito/taco is then folded up and wrapped in foil. Tortilla chips are available as a side dish. They’ve also introduced the American concept of a bottomless soft drink As you can guess, I’m going for option 2 on my question above. Interesting to see how it takes off in Wimbledon
