Went here recently and was really excited to try the place out. I was going with a large group, and had been asked to pre-order to make everything go more smoothly. I don’t think that worked though as the staff seemed overwhelmed and confused. There was a group of us, and the food we ordered didn’t come out in any order, some people had starters come out and other’s had their meals(like myself). I had a plate of eggs, avocado and chorizo, which were incredible. Some of the best sausages I have ever had. My started never arrived, but everyone’s food looked good, and I tried a few others, all of which were great. The staff were all very friendly, and seemed to still be finding their way in their roles. So overall, great food, and friendly service. I’d like to go back one night with a smaller group, and have some more of their great food. I’m sure I’ll receive everything I order next time as well, as I won’t be with the group.

Nice place, doing both tapas and mains. Steak very succulent and affordable. Great typical dishes from Ecuador, accompanied by good wine. Humble place with friendly staff.

I went here for a solo lunch. Really cute spot, although I can see how it might get noisy when crowded(I didn’t see much fabric that could absorb the noise). I’ve never had Ecuadorean food before, so I can’t comment on the authenticity. But what I had was delicious, regardless. Lots of seafood(the ceviche was so yummy!) but also plenty of options for meat eaters. It’s a bit pricy if you go à la carte, but this is the center of central London after all, so perhaps that’s to be expected. The set menu(tasting menu) looked like good value. They seemed to have bento style boxes for lunch too. Will be back with friends for dinner!

I had a great time at Tostado. My friend and I were walking through Soho on a weekday evening, looking for a late dinner around 9:15PM, when we stumbled upon this cute place. The venue is small and cozy, very similar to the Ceviche in Soho. We weren’t that hungry so ordered 3 plates to share between the two of us. We got the humitas lojanas(baby corn wrap with cheese filling), a chorizo platter, and flat iron steak with chimichurri. Everything was great, but in hindsight we both thought that it would have been better to go with the tamales lojanos with meat instead of the cheese one that had been recommended to us(if in doubt, meat is always preferred!). The chorizo and steak were both perfect. And we had all this with a great bottle of Malbec, which despite the tacky looking label, was absolutely delicious!

Really nice(family-run I think) Ecuadorian restaurant with delicious food and impeccable service. Also light for the wallet — makes a good breakfast/brunch/lunch destination in a relaxed armosphere. Big plus for the chill, not-too-loud South American music in the background. Definitely again!

Cute little place. They worked so hard to deliver. We went for dinner and the server tried so hard as did the cook. Good ceviche, great chorizo. But the salad and the humitas were a bit lackluster. A few tweaks and this place could be awesome. Might check it out for brunch as that seems to be the highlight according to other Unilocalers.

I work near soho so I’ve always passed by this restaurant/café. Finally I went in and had my first Ecuador food experience. I had the ‘Tamales Lojanos(Chicken & Pork corn wrap in banana leaf)’. It was absolutely lovely. I loved the sauce with the spicy kick they gave me and I felt healthy eating this food. I really liked the staff, I don’t remember her name but she was really friendly and nice. Will definitely go again and try more! Mmm

All day breakfast! Sleeping late in London and looking for an egg-serving breakfast place afterward can prove to be difficult. This place is cute, affordable, and very accommodating. The food is delicious and has everything you need to get the day started.

The family was tired and desperate, but we had a savior in tostado! All day breakfast was the key and it was delicious. This Ecuadorian spot had an amazing Ecuadorian breakfast with chorizo, avocado, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, and a great little potato pancake. The service was the best in London and our waitress was so cheerful and delightful. A great coffee spot too, everyone enjoyed their large americanos. We ended the breakfast with an amazing juice smoothie of mango and passion fruit. A little hard to find, it’s on a little walking alley just off Wardour in Soho. Don’t wait head to tostado for an amazing breakfast or dinner. It looks like they had lunchboxes to go for a great picnic option.

Until I visited Tostado, I had no idea Ecudorian food was a thing. Now that I know, I wish I was working closer so I can grab lunch from them everyday! The Ceviche Mixto with pop-corn. Weird, I know(I had the exact same thought!) but staff knows best! Tostado also does a FANTASTIC lunch deal! Yes, that is £3.50 for stew + side. Deal of the century? I sure think so!

Very small establishment in St Annes Court serving authentic Ecuadorean food. Quite tasty prawn ceviche as a starter was reccommended by one of my party who was from Ecuador. Very good choice.
