Nice surroundings, great staff and not bad at all for a hotel restaurant. Decent food for lunch but drinks pricey and glad it was on expenses.

Nice place to visit to get away, fairly pricey, but it is a 5* Hotel after all. I can’t give it 4 or 5 stars because its just not a cut above like one would expect.

One would think that a 5 star hotel would include 5 star food at their restaurants/bars. The meal I received at TwoTwentyTwo was one of the worst I have ever tasted. I ordered the seafood risotto, which was mostly inedible. I managed to choke down about 3 bites of it before throwing in the towel. The rice was undercooked(which I thought was a cardinal sin in the culinary world) and the seafood was overcooked and bland. My husband ordered the burger which had the consistency of a hockey puck and had a stale bun. And this meal(with drinks and salads) cost 69 pounds! Not worth the money at all! A luxurious hotel should be able to find a chef who can cook luxurious food.

Swanky location with a great interior, including a bit of fireside dining. Upscale mix of food and good wines. Variety of seating areas and a few areas perfect for lounging groups of four to enjoy conversations. A bit of buzz in the air at 6pm on a Monday, but not too boisterous.

I came here with my parents for drinks and we were told they only had one free table, even though the place was completely empty when we arrived and still empty when we left. They dumped us at the worst table in the corner and basically forgot we were there. Our waitress was very inattentive and it took ages for her to take our orders and then to get the check. I had the hello kitty cocktail, which was basically champagne with fruit garnish. It was fine but not worth coming back for. Although it’s not as expensive than the Mirror Bar(the other bar in the Landmark Hotel) this one feels far less luxurious and more like an overpriced sports bar. Next time I’m at the Landmark, I will definitely go to the Mirror Bar instead.

Lovely way to spend a Friday evening. Polite staff and a lovely atmosphere. Food was great, didn’t actually eat that much as it was so rich but still felt full. We booked the deal with Toptable so it was very reasonable. The crème brûlée was very well done too!!! Beautiful toilets!

If I were to describe this restaurant as a dress code, I would call it business casual… and if you don’t understand my point… this restaurant is a real life, 3-D oxymoron. It’s okay, but a bit over-hyped and slightly too pricey for what you get. It’s really just slightly nicer pub food. The burgers were tasty and the pastas were good, but everything was trying a little hard. For instance, the burger had a chutney on it that actually overpowered the flavour of the meat and ruined it for me. The atmosphere feels refined, but again it’s trying a little hard to be cool. The waiters are nice but struggle with their personalities. They want to be proper and upscale while at the same time coming across as laid back and casual. Can we say«identity crisis» most likely brought on by fears around the credit crunch.
