Recently renovated, I now find the Southside location of Uniqlo both less easy to get around and also less customer-​friendly. It seems they got a lot of new staff with the relaunch and everyone seems rather cold and unhelpful. The layout is much more closed in and it does seem that there is less choice because of it (but that could just be my perception). I don’t much like it there anymore.

Uniqlo is a bit of a revelation for me, because at first I wasn’t a fan. However, upon revisiting it due to another branch opening in Southside in Wandsworth, I have reassessed my view. Very clearly laid out as a store, this place produces clothes which are right up to the current trends, and at exceptional value for the quality of clothing on offer. Also great choice of colours and styles, and all with less of the rugby scrum than primark, due to slightly higher prices. Assuages the third world guilt, as well, whilst still allowing one the luxury of cheap clobber.
