I don’t have any thing bad to say about this place but neither do I have anything great to say about it. its just a sandwich shop in the middle of waterloo station. I would grab the chicken ceasar salad sandwich from time to time last year and though is was on the very dry side I kept on going back for more lol. clearly I was going through a phase. oh well. can’t say it tastes worth the price either if I’m honest… which makes me ask myself what was going on with me at the time? desperation I guess. meh there are better spots for a sandwich

This is a great choice if you’re looking for a quick, tasty snack on the go. The staff were friendly, the price was good and the food appeared to be very fresh.

Here’s what I like about this Upper Crust in the Waterloo Station — it’s fast. Pre-made sandwiches ready to go, and a nice selection. Ones with cheese, bacon and chicken, veggies, and crusty bread which I enjoy. If I am on the run and need a sandwich to go, this is a good spot. And at less than £5 per sandwich, not a bad price either. However. The sandwiches are just… meh. Nothing horrible but nothing amazing either and I usually tend to forget about them about three second after throwing away the wrapper. The only reason I am writing this now is Unilocal reminded me that I went here. It even took me a second to go, «Huh? Where the hell is that.» So nothing amazing, but in a rush, it’s a solid spot to know.

Set by the escalator to the underground, this is a convenient member of the chain. Their baguettes always look appetising. The secret is in the name, as all their bread loses its softness being left out. Resulting in a shredded mouth if you are not careful.

Nice baguettes and coffee but prices are quite high with it being in the station. The staff are not really very friendly and don’t seem to listen to what you are asking for but you get served quick if there isn’t a queue in front of you.

Located inside Waterloo Station, Upper Crust is a nice little sandwich shop with some pastries & coffee on the siide. My absolutely favourite that you MUST try is the bacon, brie and spinach baguette. Absolutely to die for. Wish the staff were a bit friendlier & the prices a bit lower, but what do you expect from a train station?
