Impressed straight away. Handy central London location, quick service and menu has a good range of options. I had a salad, lots of fruit and veg, unusual combination, looked and tasted great, and only £4.50, super bargain. Cute layout with big windows onto Rupert Street market.

All in all, it was a decent but confusing dining experience. We got a 20-for-10 voucher from Time Out, so decided to check this place out. Upon entering, the staff was very friendly. However, once we sat down, confusion ensued. We were not given glasses, and no waiter came to take our order. Finally, someone came and then asked if he could serve another table before he took our orders. Then it turned out that we had to order at the front counter. We ordered salads and entrees and a dessert to share. The food came in very haphazard timing — I got both my salad and entrée before my dining partner got any food. The quinoa salad was the best part of the meal — I’m not sure what kind of dressing it had, but it was very good. The black bean taco was pretty good as well, but nothing really special, and other than the vegan parmesan cheese, it was somthing that you could get at any restaurant. The soy hot dog was pretty good as well — the mustard/ketchup/sauce combo was a bit spicy. For dessert we shared the coffee cheesecake which the girl at the register recommended, which was good except for some random hard pieces that I think were coffee beans. All in all, it was nice to have a vegan meal but probably not worth paying full price. They’re still pretty new, so hopefully it was either just an off night or they just haven’t worked out all the kinks. Everyone in the dining room was extremely confused as to what was going on, and also they didn’t play any background music.
