Terrible service. They called to cancel my booking 3 minutes before I arrived and were pretty unapologetic about it. Don’t waste your time, very unreliable!

Definitely a cool place, and it shows in its décor, ambiance and staff. For my first cut at Viva, I felt welcome right away, which in Soho isn’t always the case. You are being offered tea or coffee, the music, as Monica says in her review, has an indie vibe, and you can have a nice conversation about your desired haircut without feeling rushed or pressured! Also, contrary to some other places I’ve tried before in Soho, the staff is pretty constant, and your hairdresser will give you his or her cards so you can request him or her on your following appointment. Prices are reasonable, and will definitely recommend Viva.

Frienly service, competant cuts, great ambience. Love this place, and have come to realise despite the £60 price tage for a cut it represents good value for money, particulary in a world of Toni & Guy’s…

This salon opened in May 2007, so it’s a bit of a new kid on the block, but it is a kid you will see for a while because it’s so cool. It’s an independent salon in Soho with that indie vibe from the hairdressers to the music they play. What I loved about it is that the people there really love their job, so they will take the time necessary to talk you through what they can do, depending on your features and lifestyle. Another plus is that you don’t have to sell a kidney to get a good haircut, its reasonably priced and sometimes they will give you a discount in your first cut.
