Some interesting dishes, and an extensive menu, make this an ok choice. Service was attentive when called for, but not great.

Ain’t nobody got time for the conveyor belt and trying to decipher what’s gluten free. However, their takeaway boxes are affordable and labeled. You can get gluten free soy sauce on request. It’s a step up from grocery store sushi, but it’ll do in a pinch!

If you’re gonna eat in an airport conveyor belt chain sushi restaurant but leave a one star review because it’s not«authentic»… 1. You should probably look into learning how to manage your expectations, and 2. DUH Yo! Sushi is pretty much the Chipotle of Japanese food. Yes, I’ve been to Japan more than once and also had meals at a handful of the top U.S. sushi restaurants myself. I came in not expecting anywhere close to that. It’s not terrible but I’ll likely continue coming because options in T3 are somewhat limited if you’re looking for something quick and light. Snatch a few plates of sashimi or tartare off the belt, maybe get a salmon firecracker rice to go for the flight. You’ll probably do alright. Consistency of quality can vary though and yes as one can expect especially at the airport, prices are a bit much relative to not just the portion but quality. I found the service to be friendly and prompt overall and they can get very busy. If you need something not on the belts just push the neon orange button in front of each seat and someone will usually attend to you fairly quickly. Staff does need to be a bit more attentive to cleanliness though, especially to shared items such as the wasabi bowls, water spouts at tables… and they rarely seem to wipe tables after clearing plates from each customer since the counters are often slightly sticky. This is the main reason I’m giving it 2 stars rather than 3, since I often tend to round up if I’m on the fence. So yeah, it’s not Jiro’s by any means, but I’m not much for mediocre carb, cheese and mayo loaded sandwiches or overpriced faux-gourmet pub food either, so this is it for the time being when I’m in T3.

Oh come on guys! Nobody in their right mind expects truly authentic ethnic cuisine when they are dining in an airport. I’ve spent time in Japan, and eaten a boatload of sushi while I was there, so I will agree with those who cry that this isn’t «real» Japanese food … but it’s not as bad as some reviewers suggest. I rather enjoyed my meal before that 8 ½ hour flight home. My husband and I settled in at the counter, grabbed something tasty as it rolled by, and each ended up with a stack of five plates. We tried a variety of rolls and salads and everything was fine. Fast-Food Fine. As long as you don’t go in expecting Jiro Ono to serve you something he personally just picked up at the Tsukiji Fish Market, you won’t be disappointed. The service was great, the atmosphere was fun, and the prices were about what you’d expect to pay for airport food. I’ll probably stop there again the next time I find myself in Heathrow’s Terminal Three.

You are incredibly limited within the terminal as to what one can eat, but at least sushi is available. Even if it is fast food. Let me remind tourists that this is fast food sushi, and please not to expect the best. That said, it’s a while kit better than plane food and worth grabbing some for your flight.

the price is too high and the plate to low. the pieces are very very small I could go to a better sushi and eat way more by the price I’ve payed. Also the service was a little rude.

Kids LOVE it here because of the moving track that delivers their food. Dishes are varied, reasonably priced, and fresh, not to mention fast. They have ready made sushi, salads, rice and noodle bowls, desserts, etc. Miso soup is delicious and has free refills(perfect for my miso guzzling son) and the same with their green tea. Staff is friendly and helpful. Serve yourself water at your own table and help yourself to the right amount of soy, ginger and wasabi. When you order something that’s not coming around the track, service is incredibly fast. This is our go to restaurant in this area of the airport.

Do yourself a favor and don’t eat here! Or at least get something to-go so you don’t have to deal with their ridiculous service. I sat and waited over ten minutes before anyone came to offer me a menu or to take my drink order(I wanted hot soups from the kitchen, not the food off the belts). The chefs in the middle of the restaurant kept offering people the seat across from me in my booth without asking me first. I mean I’d be fine with sharing if I’d been asked, but the chef gave it away without even asking if I want to gaze into the eyes of a stranger 3 feet from my face while eating my meal. When I looked disgruntled, the chef said, «Well you’re sitting in a seat for 4.» Obviously… but isn’t it polite to ask me first, so I can say okay? Maybe this experience added to the taste, but the food itself was also pretty terrible.

Sushi is pricey and this place would be a lot more enjoyable if the staff weren’t continually shouting to each other over the heads of the diners.

Never ate at Yo! Sushi before and that was mainly because of the mixed reviews. I get it now. The service here is absolutely fine. Pleasant, quick, polite. No issues at all. I like the water fountains(free refills) and even the seating setup is kitsch but functional. It is also bright so no surprises like you get in dimly lit airport eateries. The food was Meh. I was a captive audience since I didn’t eat the night before & would not make it to the in-flight meal, so I had to do it or faint. I had the Chicken Katsu. That sauce, was an absolute NO! The chicken was a bit over cooked but the rice was on point. The prices here are typical of airport grub. I would not get the Mega-bowl again but might stop in to try the sushi plates(no more than 2) if hungrily passing through Heathrow again.

Yosushi should be ashamed to call themselves a Japanese restaurant. This is the worst restaurant to promote the beauty of Japanese food, I’m sorry if this sounds harsh but the sushi here are close tasting to rubbish. If you’re new to Japanese cuisine I recommend not coming here.

Lifesaver this little cute sushi place! Every time I come to the airport and I have that craving for fast, fresh and yummy sushi I run to them! Been going there for many years now and they never let me down!

I love the food at the Virgin Atlantic Gates at Heathrow! The spicy seafood Udon Noodle soup could certainly include more seafood, but the Thai-like spices will bring out a good healthy sweat! The sushi is not the best, but I admire their creativity, and attempts to be innovative. This may not be a truly authentic Japanese restaurant, but it is fast, fun, and spicy!

We were quite surprised actually. The quality of the sushi was quite good and some are quite experimental. Service was very polite and kind too. Prices are a bit steep but we expected that since it is a combination of airport and sushi restaurant. Word of advise: The yellow plate on the running sushi belt are the most expensive ones, ergo dont go overboard on those.

I know that a 1* ranking may seem mean but hear me out… If you have ever been to Japan or experienced REAL Japanese food, steer clear of this place. This place is setup as a kuru-kuru(conveyor belt) sushi place however offers a broad array of non-traditional items like katsu, sandwiches, breakfast items and ramen. I had a jonsing for some rice so i figured I’d do lunch here today. From the menu it seemed ok as the items were spelled correctly in romanji(English translations) and they had a good sampling of Japanese dishes. I ordered Char-Siu Ramen The Ramen was straight up disgusting. The broth had no taste. The char siu looked and tasted like a piece of jerky. The noodles(would be a stretch to even call them that) was soggy and gushy to the point that they would fall apart when you pulled them with the chop sticks. They didn’t appear to even be traditional ramen or any Asian noodle for that matter. I ate 2 bites and threw the lot away. IFYOUHAVEHADANYSORTOFDECENTRAMENTHEN I SUGGESTYOUSTAYAWAYFROMTHERAMEN! Chicken Katsu The Katsu was decent(its hard to screw that up) the major turnoff of the order was they slopped it into a ramen takeaway bowl and splashed katsu sauce all over it. It was a nasty soggy mess by the time I sat down and opened it. Word of advice, invest in proper bento boxes or takeaway boxes. All of the other boxes are decent but somehow packing fried food was a major miss for this establishment. Spicy Tuna Handroll Not the best I had but was the only real edible thing that I ordered. Major cons about the sushi was the rice was hot when they made the roll so by the time I got to it the nori(seaweed) was soggy. It also appeared that the tuna was prepared separately and shiracha was added at the end for the«spicy» part of the roll so the taste in the roll was very inconsistent. By normal standards this would be a major miss but I guess that’s Sushi in London. I should know better since the motherland is 7000 miles in any direction. Long story short it was 13GBP down the drain and I left lunch sad and disappointed…

This is the airport sushi stand at Heathrow. I thought the service sucked. We weren’t even expecting much. Tables were kind of dirty, but we did get sat right away. The lady next to us ordered potstickers… a minute later when we tried to order it too, we were told they’re out. Couple across from us order potstickers. then they got their potstickers too! When the service saw that we noticed and was pissed. he said«ok ok i’ll get you yours»… Oh they also didn’t have noodles or anything other than fried rice even though there’s tons of things listed on the menu… but I guess this place will do for an airport stand

During a stop over in Heathrow on our way back to New York from Portugal I was craving some sushi after talks of its deliciousness with my friends on vacation. Excited to spot Yo! Sushi in the airport, we peeped inside to see conveyor belt sushi, colorful plates and funky wall paper I excitedly sat down to have a taste. Overall, the place is fun, the sushi is super fresh especially for the airport and the food is yummy. The firecracker rice however isn’t that great and the chicken is fatty. 3.90GBP for 3 pieces of a gyoza is also a tab much and they messed up my gyoza order anyway bringing me two firecracker chicken rices instead. Granted they fixed it but still, was a tad disappointing. They also charge for water which is pretty lame and my lunch for one came to a hefty 25ishGBP translating to around 40US dollars which is expensive for sushi for one. The space is definitely fun(check the pics) but I have to deduct one star for service and the fact that they charge you for water. Free refills or not, that’s just a shame.

For the ‘world’s busiest airport’, T3 really has a dearth of eating options. Yo Sushi has at least broadened the options. It’s typical conveyor belt sushi, which I never find the most appealing as I’m not sure how long my dish has been circling the belt exactly. However, as a snack, I did pick up a pack of salmon sashimi for 3.90BP(sorry — no pound sign on my Malaysian keyboard!). 5 pieces of average sashimi still hit the spot at that particular moment. Good try, Yo Sushi but Heathrow, you have to try and pull your socks up.

uhhh… this place is convenient if you MUST eat sushi while waiting at the airport. but just try and wait until you get to your next destination… there are plenty of restaurants to eat at in heathrow. this is really expensive for kaiten sushi and really nothing special. you can get free refills of sparkling water and kick back a few pricey sapporos, but otherwise it’s a waste of time and money.):
