Great pub for watching football. It’s a bit tough around the edges but there aren’t enough of those pubs left in this neighbourhood. The staff are nice, beers are affordable and you can bring hot food in from the best kebab shop in the east end. Great local, especially if you are an arsenal supporter.

You know when you see an old man on the bus and you can tell that his years haven’t treated him well. This pub is very much like that. It really does have something special about it hidden under the sticky carpets and grimy mirrored walls, that I think is personality. I came in here for a pint last night as I’d walked past and the draw of an open fire was just too much to handle. Actually I was a little too scared to go it as there is always a gang of locals loitering outside. Anyways, I got up the guts and we headed in, sat by the fire and spend 2 hours chatting and chilling in an almost deserted pub. There wasn’t just one roaring fire either, there was two! This is now set to be my new winter local, nothing special about the drinks or the staff just an awesome atmosphere. The one thing that gets me nervous is the number of TV screens that are i there. On a match day it will be heaving with footie supporters.

Nice large real ales but lots of seating, this pub is ideal for the sports person. its football crazy. around 7 tvs in the bar. and gets very busy when football on tv. which seems to be as two pool tables which seem to have ample room for a good game, fairly good service, very clean toilets and bar
