I usually stop off at the Piccadilly when Im in Manchester for a quick drink, i like fact that everytime i visit striking up a conversation with a local is easy, unlike in London where you’re viewed as a weirdo.
It’s a whetherspoons, tho has a Lloyds feel to but expect friendly staff, reasonable priced drinks and good, cheap food deals. Beef madras on a thursday works for me everytime!
