Whats that coming over the hill is it a MONSTER?!! Yes dear, as of a matter of fact it is!!! Boom. Right so… we all know of the Sanam Sweet House in Rusholme… Yes, that Rusholme offering which has become a powerhouse of an establishment in the Northwest as one of the best eateries Pakistani cuisine has to offer. It really has set a bench mark for the rest to follow. A Selfridges of its niche market if you will. This particular new venture I’m very excited to report, does not disappoint. The owners must be smiling reading this review with«I love it when a plan comes together» type satisfaction. Rightly so, for much like how Apple blew everyone away with the iPhone4 upgrade, the new Sanam is simply put, brilliant. Now for those not in the know when it comes to Manchester’s geographic demographic, let me enlighten you in saying that there is a second curry mile taking shape along Stockport Road. Anyone who doubts this assertion should visit this place. Like its predecessor on Wimslow road this eatery has set a bench mark alongside Nawab for every neighbouring restaurant in the area if not Manchester. As Ledger said in character to Bale in character… you’ve changed things… Sanam have also changed things, in a differnt context of course. They have added va va voom to an area previously fairly unknown to teh wondering foody. Who knows what the future holds for Stockport road, I have made my predictions clear. Some exciting times ahead for us Mancunians. For all you foodies out there the same applies, for you must visit this heavenly oasis in an area which might not have a Prestbury GDP but is rich in culture and culinary delights. For those who have frequented the original Sanam the score in terms of food is exactly the same, the difference being a modern twist on the interior. A clean sleek new look for sanam with the food just as delightful as it has been since they opened their doors in the 60s. So yes it is a monster and it has come over the hill… what are you waiting for? Face down, home town, face down, home town, Face down, home town, it looks so sweeeeeeeeeet!!!
