A big name in North Lanarkshire when it comes to meat, with suitably big prices.
No arguments though, really high quality meat in here that put the stuff in Asda to shame, with really good steaks that are just to dear for me to purchase on an even infrequent basis.
If you dodge the big name though, there are a handful of other good butchers in Motherwell that aren’t as expensive but are just as good in my opinion. Adams on Windmillhill Street is the place to be if you are after square sausage!
They also do good fish in Chapmans.

Big butchers and fishmonger that does the best lamb kebabs I have ever tasted!
Quite pricey but the meat here is good and fresh, and the staff very knowlegable about the meat they are selling. You can see in the back shop which often freaks me out as I don’t like seeing meat on the bone! Yuck!
Hidden away in Brandon Parade, so make sure you don’t miss it!

Excellent quality butcher meat though fairly expensive. The shop is located close to the Motherwell Post Office and is always spotlessly clean inside. Wide variety of fresh and cooked meat and other products. There are plenty of staff serving so no need to stand waiting for long periods of time. High standard of Customer Service with options to order in advance for large orders and pick up later. Far surpasses quality of supermarket butcher meat.
